So how's everyone enjoying "Sell in May and go away" so far?

Fun fun, amiright?

What? I thought it was "Buy in May and stay".

I was wondering why Bitcoin was having a sale. Oh well, more for me.

just a thought:
there is a possibility that the next halving bullrun arrives later than usual.  almost everyone seems to expect a normally scheduled bullrun... and that alone should actually be enough of a reason for it not to happen.  On top of that we might face some medium-term price pressure from the US Gov. sitting on 200k BTC, and from some of the 140k Gox coins...

The 2021 bull market was expected after the halving and it did arrive. Halving was in May and in November we were already at a new ATH.

the point for me is when after the halving.
Last time it started actually earlier than expected (not around eoy like usual).
We are now 75% through to the next Bitcoin halving.

How its possible this? how anyone can make such a poor graph? how can you use that scale? 10k to 100k in a little space? what a joke man, cant take that graph seriously.

Also what they coloured its not related, only paint in red a few bullrun but without correlation.

It seemed like the recent sale of Bitcoin by the US government was timed to do maximum damage to the market price. I think that leaves a bit of a buying opportunity here. I think once we reach the summer of 2024, the market sentiment is going to flip from bearish to bullish in a major way and I think it will be reflected in the price in 2025.

Now Best Solution for image hosting would be using TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk by our Forum member joker_josue

Nice. I didn't even know it existed.
joker josue developed it a week earlier. Right after his 10th anniversary of his Bitcointalk Journey. So, it's pretty much new, and he still improving some features. However, theymos already supported his initiative and added a talkimg.com link on the help page. Also, talkimg.com we will be on the factoid ads of the forum. I am amazed by forum support.

How long has the Bitcoin talk address been banned? I was away for a bit.
It's been over 36 Hours now since the imgur images are not working. It's not banned. But, they put some limitations and restrictions on requests. So, all the requests from ip.bitcointalk.org are blocked by imgur.

Anyone can Telegram or contact chartbuddy to inform him, his bot isnt working?  Grin. Well not exactly his bot but the image.

About imgur limitation, what a punch we are receiving this year here.

1- Coldkey scam.
2- Chipmixer shutting down by FBI
3- Ordinlas/fee problem
4- Imgur "banning" our pictures

What its behind the corner?

It seemed like the recent sale of Bitcoin by the US government was timed to do maximum damage to the market price. ...

The US government didn't sell any bitcoins according to cointelegraph. They say it was fake news.

Quote
Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView showed BTC/USD circling $27,400 at the time of writing.

The pair had seen a flash sell-off the day prior, briefly taking it to $26,850 after claims that confiscated BTC held by the U.S. government was being sold off.

This was subsequently disproved ...

However there's a free chart of US government bitcoin holdings here. It doesn't show any selling in May.
