Happy Mothers Day everyone.
So I left a card for all the mothers that frequent this place (both of them) at CVS.
Just go to the card aisle and read it, then put it back.
Hallmark makes millions anyway, and besides, the card goes in the trash next week.

You should have got a pack of these instead. They're suitable for any occasion (and reusable). No need to throw them in the trash. You can say they're "environmentally friendly".

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

Reminds me of staying at my folks place many years ago in UK.
They always had that Tesco Value toilet paper.  (I loved my dear old late Dad but jeeeezus, he was a cheap bastard, bless him)
I swear every time I went for a dump I'd always end up using the whole frikkin roll.

I literally bought one of these Tesco value joke cards on eBay years ago for my ex wife, it was a Happy Birthday one. (I had a proper card to give later)

Maybe that's why we got divorced.  Cheesy

O/T

Man, Guardians of The Galaxy 3 was somewhat disappointing.

It has some good bits, especially the Rocket stuff, but much of the movie became a real clusterfuck with too many characters and too many redemption arcs thrown in.
A lot of the characters seemed really mean to each other at times also, for no reason other than to try to get a laugh which doesn't work after you have seen character growth already in previous movies.
Why is Sylvester Stallone in this? He has nothing to do at all. Madness.

What a shame.

The first one was excellent and a refreshing surprise. The second one wasn't too bad I thought, pretty decent with an excellent Kurt Russel.

This one for me is a 5 or 6/10 at best.

Not much point seeing any more Marvel movies from now on I reckon. These were some of my favourite characters.
A bit worrying that James Gunn is the exact guy to have control over all DC movies now.

Indeed, it was a good one.
Yes, too long, too many things introduced late on.
Maybe the Rocket stuff should have played out as a long 10 minute intro before the credits instead of interjected throughout at random times.
It would have paid off better I think.
And do away with the reverse earth and children especially.

Bizarre choices.

yeah marvel fell into the Disney black hole like star wars did.

too bad.

A surprise decent sequel was the new shazam.

The first was a C- or C , but the sequel was a good B or B+

It is rare that a sequel is better but sometimes they are better.

Friends everyone should celebrate mother's day.

Mother is important in every person's life.

No one sees the light of the world without mother, Father's Day should also be mentioned here.

Welcome to mother day.

I think its pure fault of shit companies who only wants to make tons of money in a short span of time, its quailty or quantity you cant do both.

So they start with some few good ones and after that they make 8123718237182 movies in 5 years, and clearly this last movies are gonna be shit.

Its like in games, for example Need for speed throwing 2 games per year ten years ago, and yes man clearly they are gonna be a shit, and they kill the whole saga.

How are the good ones? making only a few well made with a good span of years between one and the others.

In movies for me Nolan trilogy of Batman still unbeaten (talking about comic based movies), why? because was really good made and without external shit pressure and with 7 years b etween the first and the last.

Shazam is a movie only judging by its trailer I know I ain’t watching that Sh*t  Tongue

Both Shazam and Black Adam are extremely boring. I watched both with my wife and we felt like they're targeting teenage audience with these movies. Stupid plot, childish dialogues and choices made by characters, some of the common "friendship prevails and we have to work together" themes... Not worth watching.

I hope I don't misunderstand you.  But you will always find examples where the expectations of the majority came true.  But that's not the common situation in markets.  Otherwise John Doe would just follow the herd and be rich, which obviously is not the case.

Everyone getting rich might be a rather childish idea, but Bitcoin is probably the best shot to achieve that.
Probably by hodling. Certainly not by timing market movements.

True, but there's at least one guy who thinks that "crypto bros" followed their own herd and got rich by doing nothing. Also, crypto bros are tax evaders.
It all depends what herd John chooses to follow Wink
