Lots of short term resistance in this 2930 area. Looks like we've been trying all night to get past it. Doesn't look like it will budge. Onto 450-460 next, then? What do you guys think? But of course. Just another big dump followed by big walls at 470 and 470 will be the next resistance level. 470 will be very expensive so people are gonna want 420 coins. So the dumpers will take us there and put the resistance at 430. But then we have a problem. Those 420 coins are suddenly very expensive. Why buy at 420 when you can buy at 370. Just a little more dumping will take us there. Aaaah those cheap coins at 370! But wait! Wtf? 370 is expensive as hell considering the resistance suddenly is at 380. Better dump those expensive coins and buy some cheap coins at 340! I can already see all the people cheering here! Coins at 340!! How awesome will that be. Too bad they will be expensive 10 mins later. But i know an easy solution! Just dump the shit out of the market and you can be the happy owner of some 260 coins! That would be a real party right! Better get started. Exactly. Maybe they can even dump it so low to break the previous ATH of $266! That way we could have an unprecedented event in bitcoin's 5-year history, that breaks everyone's complete faith that bitcoin is on an exponential trend rise! That way everyone loses all faith in bitcoin overnight, dumps everything, including Satoshi, and the whale day traders can finally get back to buying and selling $5 bitcoins to each other over and over. Yay! (Problem is that at that point bitcoin becomes feathercoin, no one cares ever again, buyers are gone, and the troll/whale day traders are the ones left holding the bag, haha)

I just wish more people here who cheer about cheap coins with every dump would realize this. There is nothing to cheer about this situation. Unless you are a troll and want Bitcoin to fail.
Plenty of folks think they can make more money on the failure of Bitcoin than on spending and holding it. They will make their piddly amounts of profit, and be left with some lovely fiat that they can leave to be inflated away while the whales laugh at everyone from their yachts. "But hey I shorted LULZ smiley wink" so screw the enormous benefits that a world where Bitcoin is a major player would have, I can't think with all this money in my face.

Let's make a new rule in this thread. Let's don't cheer and bring out rocket/moon photos ever time the price rises $5-10. Mmmkay?

I bet this rule would be dropped if the price rises to 510$.

Wait a tick! It's September!
Isn't GABI supposed to be investing billions of dollars into bitcoin right now? Don't tell me that it was all just more bullshit from the regular gang of hold-tards.
Fortunately, hardly anyone is interested in bitcoin anymore, and there are very few new comers. When a commodity drops in value consistently all year, that tends to happen. So less people that can be persuaded by the snake oil salesmen here, which is a good thing.

Yep you're right! Nothing but snake oil in these here parts. Hear that everyone, we've been done found out. It was fun while it lasted, time to pull up the tents, the locals are onto us.

I bet this rule would be dropped if the price rises to 510$. I've been nothing but disappointed since April's month long bottom $420 --> $680. Then we stayed in the $600-550 range for months. It's been nothing but down ever since. So wake me up when we hit $680 again. Otherwise I'm completely ignoring rockets/moons until then.

Hey at least mining difficulty never stopped going to the moon, in fact its currently hovering around the moons of Saturn.

>Speculation subforum >Trading threadHithere! Sorry if I offended the bear/bull traders with my remarks. I know how sensitive we are to straying off topics in this thread. I'm so glad all we ever talk about is day trading and charts and lines. I'm sure I'd be hanged if I was to even dare attempt to discuss something other than trading, like politics or religion, thank god we never have. You're right this thread is only for speculation on trading, it is in no way the troll box of the entire forum. Nope! Thanks for putting me in my place.

Fellows, one is certain with Bitcoin: That no certain prediction is possible. We may CCMF for no apparent reason or we could slide down the slope for no apparent reason as well. People involved are more or less similar to you and me; other times bearish, other times bullish. Don't expect miracles. It will go up or it won't. It could as well play it "dead" for a while. - If you're in for the trading, there are a TON of other "products" to trade and believe me, you will get A LOT more with A LOT less stress. - If you're a holder, just sit back and relax. Do other stuff, or troll in here if you like, but don't get frustrated because this won't affect the price whatsoever. - If you're a paid troll, please PM me, I want to know your payroll per post count, just to see if it's fair for me to quit my day job and join forces with you.

Here we are at this 2940ish level that we were at last night. Can we break it this time? Strange time of day to try to break the resistance (China sleep time )...

Try and find a quote where I call Chinese volume "fake". Should be difficult (or very far into the past, maybe).
Sorry, from the bottom caption that you put in that image I inferred that you thought so. Just for the record, I do not think that the Chinese are going to drive the price to zero. Quite the opposite, I believe they are the ones still holding the price at the current level. Without them, the price woud certainly be as low as the 350$ of Apr/11; perhaps as low as 150$. But you know that I think that. Jorge, when you refer to "the Chinese," do you mean their exchanges or fiat from Chinese traders, or both? I suspect any new fiat entering Chinese exchanges is from Coinbase. If that is the case, then the US is sustaining the price. Party ends when Coinbase runs out of options.

Have you not?
