I see there is a very interesting kind of ranking between global moderator troll buster and legendary (john k) and ninja administrator (cyrus),what kind rank of it?

It's not a rank; it's just a custom title that some high-ranking staff and some others can have if an admin gives them the right (which I think was the case with John).

Is there a section that can only be accessed by certain rankings in bitcointalk.org?

Just the Staff section for Staff and the Donator board for donators (but Staff can also see/post in there). There are currently no other 'hidden' boards.

It means number of 2 weeks duration that you have remained active since registration
I am not really sure how they consider whether you are active
it could be based if you are posting or not or maybe they simply consider if you logged in or not

You have to post something for the website to increase your activity, don't go crazy spamming because there's a maximum per day. Also note that activity counts are made every two weeks, if I recall correctly, and that till that day arrives you'll be stuck at the activity you had the last day of the last evaluation.

If you are talking about the activity per rank, yes, it is. But how activity is calculated... That's something I dunno

It is accurate, the activity system didn't see any modifications during the last years as far as I know. If they did change it at some point, they would've edit the post or make a new one instead.

Legendary:   Activity: the Legendary membergroup has no universal activity requirement.
You are guaranteed to become Legendary somewhere between 775 and 1030 activity,
but the exact point in this range at which you become Legendary is random per user.
Gets 5 gold coins under his name of which the last is half dark blue.

Is that possible, for a specific user (me, for example :-)) to know when he will become legendary, at what activity level ?
In others words : the activity level for the legendary is decided in advance for each user, for example at the time of registration, or is it random during user is between 775 and 1030 ?

You need 60 Activity ponts, and you can get max 14 points in 2 weeks so 28 a month now it's easy to make the math read the OP it's explained there

I like bitcointalk but why there are so many ranks, i mean it would have been simpler if we had newbie, full member and expert etc.. I still enjoy my stay here and one day i will become legendary

Posts are simply a counter of your posts, they increase by one each time you post a thread/reply. Activity are something you gain automatically (as long as you have enough posts) with a maximum increase of 14 activity per two weeks, while reaching certain amounts of activity, you will rank up as mentioned on the OP. In your case, you will become Full Member after reaching 120 activity and the PMs has nothing to do with activity.

And I can add, that reading doesn't add up anything to your activity level. That' essentially what I do for 5 years here, and you can see my calculated Activity level.

is anyone know how to calculate the potential activity? i just don't understand it. thank you!
