Feels good knowing the rank management of this forum is very important to avoid questioning someone who don't know also about this stuff.

Sorry for asking again. I am just curious. When did the last two weeks or last activity being updated? Because I think my activity didn't updated. I am waiting for more than two weeks already. Thank you for those who will answer.
There is nothing wrong with your activity. You can see the activity dates here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582736.0Donator and VIP still need 10 and 50 BTC?
Yes. So... wait you guys are asking for $56,000 USD for Donator and $283,562 USD for VIP ranks? I could buy a house for that VIP rank . Can I just give you both my kidneys?

They're not asking anything. It's a donation. The price was fixed in btc and won't be changed because it was deemed it would be unfair to those who originally donated. More donator ranks with values pegged to fiat have been suggested though but no plans to implement them as of yet.

Activity is updated every hour.
To become a Donator or a VIP, send a PM to theymos to get a unique donation address.Took the liberty to update it according to the new Activity & new member limits/groups.Edited with proper number of coins.malevolent - update: added info about the new rank, changes to the Staff rank tag, removed the deprecated "SCAMMER" sub-rank. Also included info about the posting limits. Signature restrictionsThere are restrictions on signatures, based on your activity/rank. - Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 50 characters. - Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 150 characters. - Member: Unlimited length. - Full: Color allowed. - Sr. Member: Size allowed - Hero: Background color allowed
BadgesI added a system of badges to SMF a while ago, though only two are defined now. Here are the current badges: A core dev does not "outrank" a bitcoin expert (or vice-versa), and it's possible for someone without a badge to contribute meaningfully to a discussion with experts and core devs. Limits on postingwaittime = 360; if(activity >= 15) waittime = (int)(90 - activity); if(activity >= 60) waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity)); if(activity >= 100) waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4); Limits on PMsI've adjusted the limits to make spamming more difficult. Activity | Min. seconds between post actions | Max PM recipients | PMs per hour | 0 | 360 | 3 | 5 | 16 | 74 | 5 | 30 | 30 | 60 | 5 | 60 | 60 | 30 | 5 | 60 | 100 | 12 | 10 | 120 | 200 | 10 | 15 | 120 | 300 | 8 | 20 | 120 |
AvatarsFull Member and up only. It must be no more than 120px wide, 80px tall, and 100 KiB in size. It must be a PNG, GIF, or JPEG image. It must be safe for work. Is there also a limit to what can be posted depending on your level? I was trying to post an image through linking imgur but it wouldn't work for me. What level do I have to be in order to be able to post images?

You have to be at least a Jr. member (next rank to your current rank), for the images to be shown normally (instead of a link).

I think fiat donations would be nice (since it's a little more resistant to fluctuations) though as you suggested, no plans to implement it

You can get 14 activity points every two week period. That's all you need to know.
I got 28 activity points within 2 days ... So it doesnt really make sense ... No, it makes sense. You just don't understand what a period is. If you sign up a day before the new period then you will have 14 activity then another 14 the day after. - Hey sir, my problem is I don't like to post because I'm not a talkative guy, I just read the post. Is there any way to gain activity without posting? and this guy said great i read forum from 2012 but even being member was pain to me lol

You could do some much smaller amount (in BTC, after all, this is bitcointalk) and mark it with pink coinhalf. That would be cute, called for example "tiny donator."

If you read the previous posts, you would know that Bitcointalk is not in need of donations. If you could donate some BTC, that'll be great. If not, it's all fine, there's nothing to stress about.
