Is it true that the devs are working on a new Bitcointalk forum? How will the rankings work there? Will our current ranks be transferred to the new forum as well?

Yes, everything will be transferred over, but I'm hoping there's a revamping of the ranking system in that signatures are removed from activity/rank on the new forum to stop the level of account farming and account hackings that are going on.

So, if I'm posting on the forum since e.g. december 2016 - but before i readed more that wrote, i have more "14 days periods" let's say "in storage" - i'm understanding correctly?

What you're saying makes little sense, but when you signed up is irrelevant and you won't get any potential activity if you don't make any posts at all in any given activity period.

That's interesting, it certainly is a problem that needs addressing. Do you have any information as to what new system is being proposed? Is this the end of signature campaigns or a different way of doing it?

Does anyone know why my activity didn't increase yesterday? I got 56 activity on 12th Sep. so I thought it will increase to 70 yesterday (26th Sep.).
I'm posting at least every 2-3 days. Am I calculating wrong, or misunderstanding the system?

I think activity is going to be updated next week, not this week.

My activity remained the same. The last correction occurred on 12.09. Since then, I regularly participated in the forum's activities every day. I currently have over 40 posts and the my rank is still newbie. I hope that I didnt missed an update and that update will occur today.

This is true and for the previous two members I saw that their rank was already increased. Unfortunately, my ranking has remained the same. It's probably my mistake. I do not believe that there is anything else and I will be very disappointed if it turns out that I have made a mistake.

Actually, you have to post something (not just being connected to the forum) after the reranking date to see your rank grows.
By the way, it might be a delay between the activity rise and the rank change : for few minutes, I had 70 activity, but still a Jr Member
