I'm here almost online everyday and my activity does't go up..how the heck is this working?

People with half of my posts have higher rank...like watta FF man..

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Activity is updated every hour.

Yeah saw that but doesn't understand much of it... All i know and see some go faster up in ranks than others while the one going faster up not being online more often that the slower guy...

Feels like a bogus rank system..

It's basic maths. How could it possible be a bogus system?

Let's say the amount of periods you've been registered is 1, which is equivalent to two weeks, this means you will have 1 * 14, 14 posts to make if you want to get your maximum activity. Which is essentialy equivalent to 1 activity a day.

Would you mind linking me some profiles that have gone up faster in activity then others? Being/ having alot of time  online / spend on this forum has nothing to do with it. It is all about your posts in relation to when you registered..

No. None of any of this matters for activity. One post is one post regardless of whether it's 1 character or an entire novel. However, if you make poor posts you run the risk of being banned so take that into consideration if you plan on just making short posts merely to collect activity.

No, they can't buy your account unless you will sell it to them. Actually, a lot of campaigns are looking for an account which have good/quality post in it. The more they are constructive, the more chances that you will be hired.

i will try hard to grow in this forum i think is a good idea the rank division... but I really hope the time between one post and another one will reduce soon because i'm reading a lot and is bad to not reply as well

When you reach jr member the waiting time reduces down to something like 60 seconds and continues to decrease as your activity gets bigger. By member you should no longer run into the problem.

No, it seems you don't understand the activity system correctly. It's 14 activity every two week period. The periods are fixed and do not start when you sign up so you could get 28 activity in two days if you sign up a day before the new period starts.

You need 30 activity to become a junior member so you'll have to wait until then. All the dates of the activity periods can be found in the spreadsheet here:

Last activity update (for all Bitcointalk users) was 21st November and next will be in two weeks at 5th December.

 Now you have 28 activity and 48 posts.
To get activity of 14 points from this 2 weeks period (11/21/17 - 12/5/17) users need write 14 posts or at least 1 post if they wrote more posts before this period.

In your situation you did everything to get 14 activity points at 5th of December:
You have significat number of posts - 48 (28 activity from last period and 14 from that period is 42 - you have 48 posts, so more that you need)
You also wrote at least one posts in this period - I answer to that post.
So right now you just have to wait untill 5th December.

When you open new account, at the beginning it is more complicated, because everything depends on the moment (day) in this 2 weeks period you establish an account..
