So, what is going on with the BCC fork? Do I have NVO "Cash" now on my forked wallet? >.>

No, The devs keep BCC to themselves. it was never part of the equation of their ICO. They just got lucky.
That's not what I meant.

I currently have a BTC wallet which has NVO on it. Now since BTC split, I have a BTC and a BCC wallet, both of which should have the NVO tokens on them. What is going to happen to the NVO tokens on the BCC fork?

You have to get your NVST and BTC out to a new wallet. Then swipe the first wallet with a BCH wallet.

Ofcourse not. You send your original amount of NVST and Bitcoin to a new counterwallet, or whatever wallet you are using. Then swipe clean that wallet with a BCH wallet to get all the BCH out.

Have you tried this or has anyone tried it?

About the chain split, technically you could have NVST on both chains (haven't tested yet). However, as the chains are different you can't use them on the main chain (Bitcoin (BTC)).
If you have bitcoins on your counterwallet, you can split them using the private key of the address holding them and an external tool (ie: coinb.in, bitcoin-qt ...)

Informational: BTC funds have been moved to a new address using the same setup as before. The new address is: 3QV4kZtdzE8S2XdYXMbYQrgaJYBfDnypCC.

I can see no reason why investors should get any additional tokens. This way you could ask for a compensation if Bitcoin price doubles in the future.

vested in NVO largely to support the building out of the SafeNetwork. I have lost confidence in the NVO team. The communication from the NVO team I've seen on the Safe Forum (see link below) was unprofessional at best and disturbing at worst.
https://safenetforum.org/t/nvo-decentralized-exchange-crowdsale/13608/969

If refunds are available I would like to opt out of the NVO project.

a project launched 1 month ago and they are hiring a team, offered help, devs, maybe money and someone is complaining? read between

the FUD, you can question the words, lack of professionalism and arrogance, but i don't see the SAFE will to help.

are we kidding?

if you are a REAL NVO investor and supporter maybe you could be ashamed by nemgun but ANGRY by the SAFE answers...

just tell NVO what you lack and what they can do to help you and the project, then agree to help with what they need if

you are fine.

if you don't believe in the project, people ecc (hey they can hire who they want with $7 mill) just tell them no.

you have invested in NVO to support SAFE? why haven't you bought Maidsafecoins instead?

in the whitepaper is stated that SAFE might not be used. have you read?

BTW cheap NVST for us  Grin

Yes. I am of the same opinion. We are not here to help Maidsafe. Waiting forever for the "reinvent the wheel" maid dream is not a solution

I don't trust BCH (bad cash hack) enough to risk a machine.

Makes no difference if you trust it or not.Just split the coins off the bitcoin address and dump the shitcoin and raise more money. The coins exist on the bitcoin address holding bitcoin at the time of the fork.

Nemgun created his own decentralized network he called it Safenet because he wanted to help Maidsafe deliver their project. It has all the requirements of being a decentralized network (except domain names), and it uses a different approach to tackle the problem without going through something ridiculously hard to deliver.

Would namecoin (decentralized naming) be of any use for the domain name part?

Official announcement about BCH/BCC:

Yanni Bragui/Marto in slack

"Hi guys, I wanted to clear the state of the BCH from the crowdsale.

The BCH/BCC (result of chain split) belongs to the project. The team won't benefit from these funds, they are not considered as an exceptional "extra".

These coins will be converted to Bitcoin as soon as it is possible, the escrows will handle the process and add the funds to the escrow address.

These coins are considered as exceptional extra funds for the project."

Exactly, the funds belongs to the project, and not an exceptional personal benefit to the team.
However, we are still unable to change them for now.
The escrows will take care of that.

Hello good afternoon.

- will not you use the Safe network anymore? (Provided in the paper)
- Will this change impact project deadlines?
- Will the site update occur?

Can someone answer me, please?

Grateful.
