When did that happen? It's actually going quite smootly now, even when I reduce the fees.
But there was a time that it took forever because of netwerk overload from the BCH faction.

Is this similar to ether delta but with non erc20 tokens? what about litecoin and atomic swaps?  Huh lets not forget shapeshift exist for cold wallet trading.

No problem Nemgun, just sharing out what I know about the project so far, Slack has been problematic of late and is probably putting some people off joining.

I had to laugh though at the stupidity of the phishing messages that came on the NVO channel as they were telling us about MyEtherWallet without understanding we weren't an ERC-20 token  Cheesy

Yes, but the problem is that people are still sending to them, i am subscribed to different slack channels, and all of them are spamed, slack should open their DM api to let people properly deal with these issues.

Hello,

ZenCash team would like Zen to be added to NVO Decentralized Exchange.
As system based on privacy and security we find decentralized exchanges most important for our integration.

https://zensystem.io/
https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-ZEN
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2047435.0

Thanks!

Developers will be able to add their own coins to NVO DEX by themselves once it is live afaik.

Might be that development material becomes available before the exchange goes live.

Not sure about that, as it will be part of the plugin-system release, it may be available after the exchange release.

Your NVST is visible. Just let it sit there untill the wallet is out or use the private key to sweep it in counterwallet. I recommend the first option.
Beware, you were also send NVOT. It's a scam coin, ignore it. NVST is the real thing.

this is strange? who tell hell sends out a fake token? and why did it not receive them? they have a value..... 6.69426174 XCP for 4,465.07369403 NVOT.

On xcp, the issuer of a token can create the value of its asset just by creating a single buy order, one can create 100 Million tokens, and buy 1 for 100 xcp, which will give it a total market cap of 10 Billion xcp.

Thanks for the small update a couple of things has the community thought about switching over to discord like it seems like that would be a better path to communication. Second do you plan to make the code open source for peer review? Im also a little behind on the status of the project does the dev have an approximate release date? From the pages I've read its not going to be until sometime next year if I understood correctly. Finally one idea that comes to mind for coins that are staking coins. Recently a new centralized exchange called coin markets has started a pool staking effort to pay traders for staking rewards could NVO do that for its exchange?

Am I going to be able to sweep my NVO tokens from my BTC wallet onto the NVO wallet once it comes out next year?

For some reason the Counterparty wallet sweeper isn't working for me and I don't really want to bother figuring it out if I don't have to.

Wallet is not coming out next year but in the next few weeks, might as well wait.
Are you sure about this? The website says it will come early 2018 iirc?

Quote
Nalienn, you can download and try the sweep.htlm in this github: https://github.com/Jpja/Sweep-XCP-Paperwallet
It's community accepted and proven to work for NVST. Might just help you out.
I will try this if the wallet doesn't get released by January or so, thanks.

If I understood right you are building DEX? Have you thought about fee system? ED and RR are way too expensive.

When did that happen? It's actually going quite smootly now, even when I reduce the fees.
But there was a time that it took forever because of netwerk overload from the BCH faction.
The problem might be with the exchange that I sent my BTC to. I transferred my BTC from Counterparty to Poloniex to buy XCP and now Poloniex won't let me withdraw my XCP back to Counterparty. The withdrawal has been pending for almost 20 hours. I sent a message to Poloniex support, but no response yet. Why do I have to go through all of this crap just to buy some NVST? I mean seriously? NVST should be purchasable with BTC and it would save everyone a lot of grief. If not, Counterparty should allow people to use BTC to buy XCP. Why require XCP for transactions, when we are forced to go to an outside exchange to buy their coin? Why can't they allow us to buy their own coin on their DEX like Waves does? Just another reason why I hate Counterparty.

Well, nothing to do now but wait and hope that Poloniex helps me withdraw my XCP back to Counterparty.

The team updated us via Slack to say that the wallet would be released at the very latest by November 1 so you have just 12 days to wait. They pushed it back a little so that they could include alot of the development work for the exchange instead of duplicting things. Exchange is still on schedule to be released early Q1 2018.

It seems like some people are trading their NVO as they likely bought it when it was down and are now cashing in on the 250% increase in xcp value. I can understand different people have different ideas about the token but I am only interested in accumulating as much as possible at the best price to reap a good ROI later when the exchange is paying us based on our portion

Now NVST, in BTC, is worth only about 1/3 (~8 k satoshies) of what it was at end of crowdsale (~20 k satoshies + BCC)...
It would be cool if the wallet release increases the price of NVST to at least 25-30 k satoshies to recover that loss
And then a potential x5 or even x10 increase somewhere in Q2-Q3 2018, or/and great share payouts thanks to high volume

People in Slack are also very active and seem to find ways to promote NVO in social networks like Facebook! This is nice to see such support!

in $ terms NVST is quite good, at crowdsale levels, while a lot of alts right now are sinking like the titanic because the BTC fork.

obviously BTC have almost tripled from the NVO sale.

But what if BTC now is worth 1/3?

I agree that everyone want investments soar, but with the wallet release by november and a january DEX release NVST will

skyrocket surely.

I see a strong community behind NVO and a lot of potential.

Seems like the crypto world really needs NVO exchange right now. Timing of the exchange release will be key, so if all on schedule for January time we will be in the box seats

NVO @ 11:04 here is the link

I am proud to be an NVO investor, time is a critical factor right now, but I think the dev team know that.
That video is the proof NVO is the right choice for a myriad of financial services, not only for exchanges,
Payment processors, decentralized banks ecc.

The plugin system is a very wise choice, no more bittrex, poloniex ecc. listing drama, just write your own plugin
Et voilá, listed and with access of various services at the same time.

With a tight schedule (wallet 1st of November, custom exchange for NVST/BTC shortly after and a January target for the DEX) NVO is on the right track to be a top dog.

Brilliant

John McAfee says the next big thing will be decentralized exchanges but there is much competition with same selling point so there must be good unique selling point for NVO DEX.

I'm personally just waiting for the new wallet (is it already coming on Nov 1st?). If your tokens are on the counterparty wallet you should have an easy time to transfer them over into the NVO wallet. If they're still on your nano I have no idea though.

I was very excited when I first heard about NVO many months ago, but it looks like interest is slowing down :/
NVO's website though, looks amazing.
