If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it?

Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents. What do you call this? I only made that one 13 cent deposit. Nothing else!

If i have a lot of bitcoin the best way to do is save it or hold becuase i know that the value of bitcoin become increase in the future because i want to become rich like others so ican say in the next year the value of bitcoin is $5000.

I will only sell if the situation requires me to sell to get fiat else I will keep my stock of Bitcoin and wait for it to go super high . I'm the curious type and would really want to see how Bitcoin will fare within the next ten years.

Yes if that will be the case I won't hesitate to convert some fiat because it's an circumstances that we can't avoid.
Yeah just convert a little then the save and hold the remaining. Surely bitcoin will let us taste the moon so don't touch it and just hold or you'll be sorrowful afterwards.

The more btc you will have the more profit you will get if the prices increase. You think yourself , take 2 cases.
First case :- say you have 2 btc  and the price of 1 btc is 1k USD . So basically you will own 2k USD . Now lets say that the prices of btc just increased by 2 times (1 btc = 2k USD ). So  now you will own 4k USD. (Profit = 2k USD ).
Second case :- say you have 4 btc and let the price be same as before (1k USD) . So now you own 4k USD. Now again , let the price of Bitcoin be taken as 2k USD (double) . So basically you will have 8k USD in your wallet . ( Profit = 4k) .

You see the difference ! This is what I wanted to make you understand. The more Bitcoin you will own the more profit you will get if the prices of Bitcoin increase. And remember same goes for loss

You should save it bitcoin will rise very high, because it has the potential to rise high. Bitcoin is still growing many experts are saying that bitcoin will hit a massive amount of value.

Best thing you should do at first is save and make profits. After you might have made a lot of profits, you can then withdraw the whole profits. Let’s say you invested $2000 and made a profit of extra $2000 plus main investment which is $2000, making it $4000. What you will do is withdraw the $2000 profit and leave the other $2000.

One of the best form of investment is to save bitcoin for the future  rather than spending it, there is a wide and growing speculation that the price of bitcoin is skyrocketing in fews years to come and an already saved bitcoin must has been tripled or even quadrupled which result to a highly yielded investment.

Depends if you need it or not. If you need the money I would spend it to buy like a house or sthng. If there is no need for money atm I'd definitely keep it as it will still go up.

Simple, hold a portion and wisely spend the rest. It is known that most of the members  of this forum or users of cryptos are active to earn extra. So if this is your reason for doing BTC, why hold all of it? But, if your reason is purely for investment, then it would be actually wise to hold it until a certain point. It's all in your hands. Your success/failure would depend on how well you played your cards.

I would definitely spend my bitcoin and definitely make some more. As per fiat, you spend fiat and you make fiat one way or another. That is the economy, stagnation would lead to recession.

Its a question that makes me think a bit extra, i do know 2020 bitcoin halving should make the price to grow, maybe it will make bitcoin worth 10000 dollars, maybe less or maybe more, the fact is i wouldnt moove any coin before, since its just more 3 years to reach the halving, and them time to take some coins and exchange and invest into a better life.

If I have a lot of bitcoins in my digital account, I will be spending most of them to support my education and family. I will be using some of them for making my future investments and some of them for trading. I will also be using bitcoins to promote my business online and selling my products for bitcoins.

Well not many people would ve foolish enough to spend a lot of btcs just because they have many. The fact that they have that much btc means that they know it's value and that would make them a bit wiser with spending. I don't mind spending btcs if i have that much but of course i'm going to be thinking longterm

I too will use bitcoins for both. I will spend of my bitcoins to pay my utility bills, to buy products through online shopping and to fulfil my and my family’s daily needs. The rest of the coins will be used for savings i.e. I will invest my bitcoins for couple of years to make my future secure too.

Well, practically if you don't need money and you think that the future bitcoin price will be higher, save it. But, at least take some to treat yourself for enjoyment.

I will look at the market position of bitcoin. If it is in favor of making more and more money then I will hold my bitcoin for some more time and will wait for the price to grow more and if the situation is different and there is a threat of decrease in the price then I will sell some of my bitcoin but never spend it, because I buy bitcoin for my future needs and to fulfill all my dreams which is not possible without bitcoin.

It's depend of my situation, but for now if i have a lot of bitcoin,(example 10btc) i think the 50% of my bitcoin should i spend it for start my own business and some of my money i'll give it to my family to buy what they want or pay a bill. And the half i think i save it until the price of bitcoin get higher or maybe i'll invest it to increase my income and also trading.

We have the same view on this.  Just like you if I have a good amount of bitcoin I will spend some of it for improvement.  I will renovate our house, buy some car, and other appliances to make our lives comfortable.  I will also buy share on stock or maybe join a mutual fund while doing some business. And some of them will be kept considering the continues rising up of bitcoin price.

If I were given a chance to have a lot of bitcoin, I will save them because as we can see the value of bitcoin is getting higher and so I believe that sooner or later, the bitcoin's price will reach its peak. Good thinking, if someone need hardly, so spend bitcoin according to his need but not totally because it should be saved for future. I think bitcoin should not be spent till it not mined totally because I am expecting the high value of that time bitcoin.

We all know that the bitcoin is very valuable today so it is obvious that I will save my bitcoins and I don't have a plan to spend it. If we save our bitcoins today, we will gonna have a bright future.

Yes we can spend our bitcoins anytime but day by day is saving Bitcoin is becoming very tough because of increasing price in bitcoins. So this is the best time to save some bitcoins. If I have a lot of bit coin then I will invest half of it and will hold the remaining quantity, I mean I shall invest my bit coin in short as well as long term investment and I shall do it due to the increase and decrease in the value of bit coin .So for example the rates increases or decrease will have the same effect n my bit coin.

The same thing here, i keep part of my bitcoins and i sell part of it.
It is not good to sell all because there is no possible way to know how much bitcoin will be worth in 5-10 years from now, maybe we are all holding fortune. If I don't need money i would hold them all.
