Its just going to keep fizzling out till its $50

I couldnt call it at first, but it looks like Bitcoin will be ok, and Bitcoin Cash will just be slightly held up from those with wishful thinking.

I predict it stablizes at $50 around 30 days from now, and will not break $800 again, as it bumps up and down, on its way to reality, and thus the correction

The deep pockets better not let the price go that low, unless BTC takes a very huge correction! With the EDA in play, that could lead to a difficulty adjustment that is way too low. It would be a disaster if the difficulty had to be adjusted so low to make Bitcoin Cash profitable, that it would result in block times of 10 seconds or less, when all the miners hop back on.

10 second block times sound good to me might get the reward halving before the end of the year

10 second block times would result in lots of orphans, reorgs and empty blocks. It would make Bitcoin Cash network basically unusable until the network can sort out which chain is valid. It would also turn many miners off since many of their blocks would come back as orphans. Networks have limits. The most notable limit at this time is the speed of light. 10 second block times are only possible if you have a system where only a few nodes are actually making the blocks. It is not advisable in any proof of work system.

There is a reason it sounds good and you stated most of them lol

I sold BCH and moved(temporary) into USDT... i hope i did the right thing.. thoughts? weak hand or smart move?

https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=USDT-BCC Take a look at buy orders is someone trying to HOLD BCH so it doesnt dump?? im noob in this world, i would like more experienced investors/traders opinions, please & thanks in advance.

Now they removed almost all the buy orders , i should have screenshot that.. there were like 2 pages of buy orders all equal = 20 BCC ...

Look they did again https://imgur.com/a/qR8HT

Yea in a couple of hours BCH should become around 240% less profitable (I have seen it estimated at one point to be over 300%) essentially BTC miners will earn almost 3x as much as a BCH miner and all miners will most likely abandon the network again probably just for a day though until the EDA kicks in and drops it until blocks are mined at 2m intervals for a couple of days rince and repeat as long as possible until one day people have enough

Enough of what, and then what?

Users have enough of the up/down cycles one day I can move my cash very fast the next I have to wait for a day not a really elegant solution eventually you may find users starting to sell before the difficulty rise causing a chain reaction anything is possible with BCH

Well, as long as profitability is higher, no one will have enough.

However, let me remind you that the block reward will halve from 12.5 to 6.25 BCH/block at height 630'000, and unlike the Bitcoin Core network, transaction fees are nowhere near compensating this in the foreseeable future, even less with 8MB blocks.

So, that might be interesting Tongue

I know I stated all this a few pages back I estimated it should happen around may I think providing the current cycle continues and even the possibility of another halving to 3.125 before the end of next year if the difficulty has to drop further speeding up block times even further

We all know someone is propping the price up this is nothing new and its looking like mining power is already dropping quite a bit the miners must be already making the switch because they know if they wait until the adjustment then they will loose out big time

I think he might have been mislead by cash.coin.dance, its data source node must have crashed at height 483780 about an hour ago

Im aware the node may have crashed I was referring to the average block times going up to about 3m but seems to have picked back up now but yes coindance did catch me out for a second

Use case due to the low fees of Bitcoin Cash arising.
There will probably be many more.

I don't know if this is of any importance or not but there seems to be a patent pending by blockstreams used "only" as defense. Or so it seems. I dont know how to read this much info so I will pass it to you guys

What is claimed is what is important, it is still pending and not yet "granted."
