well all the cryptos are crashing...
except a few , esp Bitcoin cash...solid as a....(what ever you want lol)
and now going up  Tongue

Yeah  Cheesy its because people are going over to Bitcoin Cash as a safe haven

I'm glad I managed to sell off a btc at $4800. phew! That was a close one its down to ~$4300 @bittrex

More BCH for me  Grin

You don't really think that Bitcoin will go down significantly, do you?

Bitcoin Cash has not a single reason not to be accepted by the entire planet, whereas Bitcoin has every reason not to be accepted by the entire planet.

"But if BCH is the real bitcoin, then why is bitcoin price still so high and BCH still low?"

People think such organic things die instantaneously. Of course not, it will be gradual, but as it gets closer towards people realizing what has happened to bitcoin, it will be quicker.

Before it's too late, ignore the current prices. The price is not what you should be looking at. Otherwise, every time one goes up, and one goes down, and vice versa, you will be pulled in every direction like sheep, following the rest of the herd who does the same exact thing. "Huh?! It's going up!? Everyone else is buying because it is going up! ... Well... ME TOO!!" and, "What?! It's going down?! Everyone is selling??! Oh shit, ME TOO!"

Do not look at the price. Look at the reason the coin has use.

You will clearly see that one has turned into something that is very similar to fiat, whereas the other one allows for everyone to be their own bank, controlled by nothing, a slave to nothing.

For a simple, and quick explanation in detail, how this has happened over the past several years. I suggest watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGYo1EUaeKI
This talk is a great introduction to all that has happened. In complete detail.

And then, for more in-depth detail, watch any of "The Future of Bitcoin Conference 2017 - Arnheim" recordings, found here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64hqihJyP9U&list=PLW5YLgBF2qh_1NKB3hW24cg26KSTCsTjY.

Edit:
P.S. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxZkiiovC_E --> This video is even more simplified, not very technical to understand.

Come on bitcoin cash believers. Let pump this thing up! The miners have been waiting for a good opportunity. With the BTC mempool drying up and people figuring out not to use the wallet defaults for transaction fees, and the recent BTC dump, the miners are starting to get really hungry. To the mewn. Go Go Go!

“Blind belief in authority is the greatest enemy of truth.” ― Albert Einstein

And likewise, blind belief in anybody, authority or not. Newbie or not. Who you think they are, or who you think they are not, is also the greatest enemy of truth.

However, the greatest ally of truth is to look at it all from the big picture that it is, and take in all the information, from every direction it comes from, and discover your own, calculated conclusion to what the right choice is.

In the mean time, buy some that you can use.

You can redeem the BCC that you are having trouble with for whatever reason, later.

How should I start using BCC if I can't even redeem it?

What do you mean?

Some exchanges, most notably Coinbase, are temporarily withholding due to difficult circumstances involving society, politics, and technicalities. (Small example, about a year or so ago, Coinbase was experimenting with unlimited blocksize, and Bitcoin Core team threatened them, and Coinbase almost lost a LOT of business. So a trivial amount of the reason they are withholding people's BCC is anticipation of Bitcoin Core potentially giving them a hard time again.)

If you have your private keys, or wallet.dat file from Bitcoin Core wallet. Simply install BitcoinABC wallet, from Bitcoincash.org, and import the private keys or replace the wallet.dat file. And you will have the Bitcoin Cash equivalent amount in BTC that you had on August 1st in that particular wallet.dat file backup which you now have put into your BitcoinABC wallet.

If you do not have any Bitcoin Cash by these means, then head over to any exchange and invest while you can.

Now the growth of bitcoin cash can begin. It is not so difficult to make a double growth, a small overflow from main bitcoin.

Watch that profit parity closely  Wink
http://fork.lol/

BCC is as solid as granite, just wait til the whales jump ship at BTC...

They aaaaalmost kissed $5k before saying goodbye

September 10th is only

.....8 days away

"Shape the future"   did anyone else notice the name-change to this event since the Fork   Shocked

China's Bitkan will present to the Chinese their vision via a high production documentary about bitcoin (alongside Jihan and Ver)

Bitkan has been highly regarded in China and I think a large part of China will act.

Ive created a spreadsheet with the highs/lows (via coin market cap) and averages (via google sheets average formula) of both BTC/BCH and the percentage (in dollar value) of BCH over BTC (green means it gained share and red means it lost share over the previous day the percentage is based on the daily average

It's  clear that these bitcoin cash cheerleaders are not interested in facts. If you stated 2+2=4 and it went against their narrative, they will not believe you.

Its not all bad yesterday increased 0.22% over the previous day I dont know if to wait till the end of sept or do a weekly update

I really should look over the api and see if I can auto grab this data from a daily cron job and store it in a mysql database so it can be auto updated daily
