Are there any updates?

Was QRK ever submitted to Kucoin when the exchange was less popular than it is now?

A request was made to Kucoin a few weeks ago and we're still waiting for a reply.

Dear Quark team members and fans,

As this will my my first post here, i have to introduce ourself:

I'm the project manager of a volunteers team (web designers, translators, community managers,...) , fan of the securecoin (SRC) and we have a project to give a new life to this coin.
This coin has been created in August 2013, using the Quark algo.

Baritus, the original core maker of the SecureCoin, is no more interested for further development, as he is now involved in other project.

We search for someone to join our team, as a SRC blockchain core expert. One of the original developper of the Quark coin would be the best. Conditions to be of discussed.
Any interrest, Please feel free to contact me for more information about our project and our team. When the project and the new web site will be launched, we can also imagine applying our forces to the Quark coin too.

Thanks much
Laurent

what is the status of the project right now? Ongoing development?

From speaking with some long term members of the community I learned the following:

1. New white paper is being developed
2. Masternodes are being implemented soon
3. Mobile wallet for Android and IOS coming
4. New Quark Website.

Quark is a BUY!

Quark 0.10.6.3

- Enables staking by default

Downloads:

https://github.com/quark-project/quark/releases/tag/v0.10.6.3

To stake your coins your wallet will need to be synced and unlocked. Coins need to be at least 30 days old to stake. Note it can take a while to stake (days in some cases). The older the coins and the larger the amount the more likely it is to stake.

0.10.6.3 Quark staking very nicely. All working smoothly.

confirms very fast and coins spendable in no time.

Very impressed.

Great work Quark community and devs.

Looking forward to the masternodes in 0.10.7

Success!
Staking perfectly.
I have a balance from 2014 that I got year over year reward. Excellent.

To Stake:
1. install the latest update. 0.10.6.3     https://github.com/quark-project/quark/releases/tag/v0.10.6.3
2. select help - debug window
3. select console tab
4. enter into console text field:     setgenerate true
5. enter into console text field:     walletpassphrase mywalletpassphrase 100000
                                                            ^                          ^                      ^
(command)        (your passphrase)     (number of seconds for unlock)

6. press ctrl L to clear your console.
7. close debug window and watch your coins get minted if they are 30 days old or greater.

Happy staking!!!!

Item 5. is the unlocking procedure to stake and mint your coins. This is only required if your wallet is encrypted.

Video tutorial I just found to help.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIe2tqaLxfQ

thanks for this.

but would be nice the developers give to us a version which we can just choose unlock just for staking, most POScoins has this.

back here after the boom in 2013
