Made a calculation and was about 2200 units of Z9 mini units mining...

It was a speculator and was mining almost 6000 Zen/day.

Such numbers are indeed scaring. 2200 units of Z9 mini units mining is almost beyond imagination in this stage, and on the long run it will likely affect the community quite a lot. I think the team has to monitor the situation closely.

What are you talking about MedaR, FPGA mining? Or other kind of machine like IBM Big Blue...?
One thing i know, not to do nothing may not kill but will harm a lot Zencash.

There are guys right now that are mining huge quantities of ZEN daily, that can be used to manipulate the prices during a lot of time, and make of old miners and hodlers a bunch of suckers...

I believe in this project, concerning the vision that developers have to the future of the project, and i am not totally agains ASIC´s also, but not in a young stage of a coin, and ZEN is at a very young stage of its life.

Sustainable Solution is PROG PoW algorithm.  Against ASIC's -AND- FPGA's.  It renders ASIC's and FPGA's to only be approximately 1.1 to 1.0 or 1.2 to 1.0 better than GPU's in power efficiency and hash rate.

I think yesterday I lost 1 zen but I don't really understand why.

I have an old zen node with 1 Zen on the shielded adresse. because now you just need 0.05 zen, I tried to send about 0.95 zen on my ledger nano S (using the chrome app)

As a lazy asshole, instead of creating a new address, to my wallet, I just looked at the last transaction that went in and took the destination address :

so I sent my zen on this address. i don't know what this address is but apparently it automatically send away the zen to stay at 0 balance...
the transactions appears anywhere and my zen seems to go from addresses to addresses, ssent automattically as it arrived. All transparent addresses.

Where the fuck did I sent my zen on?!

I'm not so deep in this, but I know if this is feasible, Team will take this in consideration. On the other hand I must stress this again, we are not sure what problems that can cause with zkSNARKs so we just cant rush into something without testing.

lol the grp that came up with the idea of prog pow are now selling fpga with theyr own rebrand, if you can make a software run engineers can make it run on hardware also

the people giving out ideas of  anti asic are now trying to monopolize the fpga market from hardware to bitstream, bitmain didnt have 80% market share because they preached it, but its because they are what people prefer to buy, i wanted to buy the innosilicon 50k sols equihash miner but when i was looking at the feedback from other people who bought before from them innosilicon sucked because of late shipments like 2-3months so i just went for bitmain even if the efficiency is better with innosilicon

I don't think there is a single coin that has successfully managed to implement Prog Pow. The first that is able to do so will become incredibly popular in my view. The gpu mining community is larger and more diverse than the other types of mining.
