Just take a look at this. I was messing around Stake, playing Pump for some minutes until I decided to move onto crash, I stayed as expectator and nothing remarkable happened, until our of no where the multiplier started to get up and up, finally crashing at x50 !
I had not even wagered anything in that round, and even If I had, I would probably cashed out at 1.50 or 2 because of the fear of losing the money easily.
Once more, this is just a other piece of evidence this game is not for the faint of heart and one of the most unpredictable ones one could partake in, definitely not for newbies but rather for those who have had previous experiences with several casino games, in which one is in control of one's exposure to risk.

I believed from your points of arguments both of you are not new gamblers and new to stake.com. and you know how the registration was and how stake.com asked participants of the casino to did KYC to level up from level 1 to level 2 and those who did it were given some sum of dollars and that happened last year and a deadline was given to those who had not did their KYC. So if you were actively participating you would have experienced it as well. And the registration of stake.com was always with KYC and the only thing was there was no ID Card and other documents addition but mobile phone number and email address, and addresses were there so KYC is not a new thing in stake. This has been discussed in this thread many times.

As I mentioned, Stake offered me around $250 USD to complete the KYC Level 2 verification, which I obviously didn’t get (apparently, some users here can’t read two words without trying to spread nonsense). I’m not claiming Stake never had KYC—that’s exactly the problem.

Apparently you can't read either because I already wrote the level 1 is NOT KYC. It's the same procedure as on many other sites when you register, you enter your name, bday and so on. Where is that KYC? You didn't send any ID yet. THAT is KYC.

"Know your customer" only comes into play when they actually VERIFY the data you entered. And this verifications can ONLY be done after requesting an ID or other documents. How else would KYC work huh?

You have NEVER been verified and once you have been ( AFTER you sent your ID ) they took action. Stake did everything right and you played with a VPN to bypass the restriction on your account, as I have stated before. Trying to play with a Swiss IP, not gonna work. So why would you use a VPN if you "thought" it would be ok to play from Switzerland?? What a pretender! You knew what you are doing and now you are crying, what a weak move.

This is BS excuse blaming the casino for not blocking you since it’s your own responsibility to check whether your country is allowed to play or not on a casino. Stake has a lot users which means checking all the account 1 by 1 thoroughly during level 1 verification is very hard.

They can only verify everything if you already provide documents that will confirm all the details that you use on your KYC lvl 1.

This is or was expected, most especially as it involved gamblers, sorry to say this but many gamblers have gambled to the extent that sometimes, it seems like they have also gambled away their brains and sense of proper reasoning, they want the casinos to do everything their way and how it pleases them even when the casino really have no say or option in some of this things, like the kyc for example, as a fully registered and highly regulated casino, the management have no say in matters that concerns kyc, as a matter of fact, they must make sure that all users are kyced if they really want to keep their license and run the business safely without attracting unnecessary fines from the regulators.

I never understand the purpose of the vault. It has 0 advantage, absolutely 0. You can transfer it out anytime, so it's not locked or anything. It won't pay you any dividends or whatever. So why would I use it is the question?

The only purpose it's used for is for sending your level up funds or maybe some loss back bonus from your host. But they could also just send it to your wallet instead of that. Sending it too the vault is rather annoying because you have to transfer it out after they sent it.
Now sending players an email to advertise the vault is funny tbh. Every email that promotes nonsense is always so tiring to receive. Other players get "wager 5000$ and we give you 750$" and so on (seen on reddit, several amounts) but recently I only get straight up garbage.

Since I closed my amount indefinitely here 0 emails I have received so that means at this they are consistent in their marketing emails. I think I have to thank these guys, they "mess" with the RTP at a level that my nerves could not hold it anymore and call it a day forever here which I am standing more than firm and it has been more than 15 days now that I don't feel the need of gambling. You make a valid point about security for both sides, and I’d happily accept this had it been implemented earlier. Unfortunately, it’s happening now, which complicates things for users like me who registered before these new rules.

This only reinforces my argument: why is Stake suddenly making KYC mandatory now? Which regulation or ruling is driving this sudden change? Really perfect timing for them considering my case as they can now say: Look! We made it mandatory! We comply with all rules!

I really hope they run out of business. All these years of money laundering, fraud and more just goes unnoticed at this point

Ive been checking my email everyday since Chinese New Year just in case stake.com will send us the post monthly bonus but they didn’t. Not sure if last year same month they sent it but I do always expect that they will send it because of occasion like this the Chinese New Year.. Other casinos sent some bonuses because of chinese new year. It looks like stake.com wont send postmontly this month as weekly bonus is about to come this weekend.
