You can be a millionaire if you will strive for the best and if you will have a lot of patience then after a few years you can be a millionaire or even to become a multi-millionaire. It is all about determination and if you ever got that characteristic in yourself then just stay positive positive because all the things that you dream will become true.

Just two posts in Bitcointalk and this guy claims that he was offered Bitcoins worth a million USD. Anyway, as per the New Liberty Standard exchange rates, the exchange rate during 2010 was around £0.0005 per coin. £200 would have got this guy BTC400,000, which would be worth $1.3 billion as of today's exchange rates.

If you bought bitcoin last 2010 then yes your now a millionaire if you haven't bought wait for 2018 because bitcoin will largely fall next year and then jump high by 2019.
In fact, if you invest in bitcoin few years ago I think now you could become a millionaire. In addition to that, having a lot bitcoin will make you rich and having bitcoin is an opportunity to become rich. Investing in bitcoin is one of the best way to gain and more income.

A general rule I recommend to new investors. Never buy if you feel rushed. It's likely FOMO and you are already too late.

yeah lol did you read the pizza story guy? that is everyone dream, to have 10k bitcoin and hold them until now, but i think already everyone dumped at the 2013 ATH, it's very hard and very tempting to sell at those price when you have so many bitcoins, and it's easy now to say that if i would have hold i would have been rich, try to say this when the value is shit lol
Yeah, many people criticize that pizza guy who bought 2 boxes of pizzas for 10k bitcoin if I remembered it right. They said so many things like if it were them, they would've kept that bitcoin and hold it until now when the price of bitcoin is high but they don't know the real score back then, the price of bitcoin was not that important and you could not possibly think of the idea to keep it for the long run because of the different problems that bitcoin faces that time.

A friend of mine who taught me bitcoin, now he feels his disappointment for not holding his bitcoin until now. And now my friend is holding bitcoin out of his income, but I think everyone has been dumped in ATH 2013. maybe if holding his bitcoin now it's become a millionaire

I think not to be disappointed because as long as we can still look for it and when it is getting back from that decision we have to do hold or sell .. your friends experience just like me so I've never felt it and now I have bitcoin savings for the future Smiley

I think it's safe to say that had he tried to buy 400,000 in one gulp the price would've risen even then. He might even had to pay £300 for that much. That's every block reward for 55 solid days.

<snip>
Well I'm chipping in late for this post but yeah, there's a pretty high chance you might have made one of the largest mistakes in your life, but don't worry too much about it because a lot of other people missed the opportunity too. I didn't even know about it until it had already hit $1,300/per so I never had such a chance. Either way I am now doing whatever I can to earn what I still can, and if we get lucky there could be a lot more money in the future. You just have to be patient and keep on rolling, because the world doesn't stop moving.
I appreciate your positive thinking in this matter. We all know "It’s better late than never". If you keep on trying and take steps in the forward direction, one day you will get reward of all your devotion and persistence.
It requires a lot of tolerance though but all is well that ends well. I encourage those people who correct their mistakes while they can and don't give up on their goals. Smiley

That is one of the dilemma of people who already engaged in bitcoins in its earlier years. They regret on not investing a large sum or they already sold theirs on a low price which is compared to today's price. One of the most tested characteristic of a bitcoin user / worker is how patient he or she can be when those temptation like increase in price comes in.

BIG WINNER!

I'm excited to read for it is interesting topic. Being a millionaire and not knowing it later would be mind blowing experience. But in the end you just have regrets for it was just a dream that might happen when you don't reject it.

Haven't you heard of a guy who bought a couple of hundred bitcoins and later sold almost all of them when its price increased but a couple of ten bitcoins were left in his wallet. After few years he logged into his bitcoin wallet and found those bitcoins and now he is enjoying his life by selling those leftover bitcoins Cheesy

You can start investing now, before you regret it a second time.

Not at £2,500 per coin I can't!!
That's the point.
I can see why you guys want people to keep buying though.

Just to make it clear I didn't buy them but I am gonna buy a gun.

But I guess your right, I would have sold them anyway when they got to £100+ in 2013ish so it's pointless beating myself up ain't it?
Now where's that gun?

What is Bitcoin2x then?

I would stick with Bitcoin. You can also start trading Altcoins with your spare money.

Did you finally buy Bitcoins? If yes, congratulation to your first winnings!

Bitcoin is not a bubble, it's the pin!

I think this is a fairy tale. Such tales on the Internet walks a lot. It seems to me that the real story is more prosaic. When bitcoin was cheap people in them and as soon as they were able to sell them for a few bucks they sold their pillars.

In contrary, i believe that there's a possibility to become millionaire. But you just need to work hard, be efficient, be productive and be effective worker. Moreover one of my friend will become millionaire thru help of bitcoin.

That's wonderful and the possibility is always there specially when you are a long term trader that holds promising coins. Hardwork is nothing without proper knowledge on the situation that might affect your decision making like on how you trade your holding; you might sell at lower price since the price still rising of it's value. You need to develop patience and determination in order to achieve that goal of becoming a millionaire someday.

Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?

Yes you have made one big mistake in your life. If you have invested on bitcoins and hold it then you are one of the millionaires whose house is already a mansion. But it is not the end of time since bitcoin is still young and you have still a chance to earn and gain huge profit. If you keep on being negative then you will be left again the second time around. The reason why people who are bitcoin millionaires doesnt have a bank account is that they dont withdraw their bitcoins and placed cash on the bank but rather their bitcoin wallet is their own bank.

Aurox.

I'm a bit confused.. so you're saying you regret not buying BTC when the price was low? Well, don't worry. You probably would've sold it anyways when it rose a few hundred. To get to here you would've either had to forget about them completely and just check now, or you would've made the decision NOT to sell like 10,000 times before it got here. And a bitcoin is a bitcoin.. regardless of where it's bought. Unless you buy from a scammer ;p

I agree with this guy, there's no way that you held your btc for that long. Or maybe you slept for full 7 years. Welcome to 2017 then
