Those 3000 rpm fans Phil recommended finally came in. I swapped out the ~1,600 rpm Thermaltake fans and it made all the difference. Temps are now between 55 and 65 with the GPU fans staying at 50%. Here are a couple of shots of the fully loaded Coloful rig: And stats: Also got all but 1 card in for the Onda rig. I'm staggering Zotac 1070Ti Minis with 1070TI AMP!. And stats: This rig is running Delta fans with about the same specs at the fans Phil recommended (but more expensive). Hope to have the 4th AMP! by Friday, but Christmas mail mayhem might delay it. how are you able to hold the fans up ? , and as far as i know that ONDA board only has 2 free fan headers how do you connect 3 fans ? he attached to the molex look at the 2 photos i left the scythe ultra kaze are the best choice as they pull 7 watts each so 3 are only 21 watts to move 3 x 133 cfm = 400cfm oh i see some kind of molex to those fan adapters , most fans come with one of those , what kind of screws are those ? do the come with the Kraze fans and how loud are they ? I'm laready close to my limit on fan noise, I bought a few of those heavy CFM ones to cool my power supplies and they are too damn loud. they are way quieter then the delta's the deltas are 3800 to 5500 rpm depends on which one. these are only 3000 rpm. they are better then an avalon and you are talking about s-9 noise . I use some scythe with 9 volts and they are nice. really nice at that voltage. but at 12 volts they are still decent not quiet but decent.

Do you guys buy your GPU's from shops which accept bitcoins or any altcoin? If so, please do share some stores with this available, I wanna buy some 1080ti's..
Thanks in advance
Feel free to buy from NewEgg or Amazon. The last need third-party integration service https://purse.io. Work good for me, but please do not assume that it is bulletproof. When you buy with btc on newegg, does the invoice show as btc or still usd? Invoice show $ so no problem with customs declarations. Also if you are stuck with BTC network congestion NewEgg will reimburse your payment in NewEgg gift card nominated in $ (NewEgg wait only 24 hours for payment and later the order is cancelled).

Thanks for the replys ~ do u know if purse ships internationally? I didnt know amazon accepted btc.. EDIT: purse.io does not ship internationally, but offers a service for it ~ this means that there will be many fees attached. Usually good forwarding service charge less for international shipment then Amazon. Just find proper one.

Like Phil said, I used the included 3-pin to Molex adapters that came with the Scythe fans to connect to unused Molex connectors from the ATX PSU. Fans are kept in place by being screwed to the aluminum angle stock (1/2" x 1/16") with 6-32 screws. The Delta's I have are relatively low RPM @ 3,000 just like the Scythe, but cost about 50% less and move just as much air and use 0.6A as opposed to 0.7A. I did move both the Colorful and the Onda rigs out into my garage yesterday and they were too loud sitting next to me in my home office. I only have my water cooled rigs in my office now, and it is nice and quiet now.

The Newegg invoice shows as dollars.

Delta fans are known for "move gigantic amounts of air for years at a time", not for "quiet". There's a reason some of their models are known as "screamers"....

These are the Delta's I'm running: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835213005- 120 CFM
- 44dBa
- 5.52W (typical)
- dual ball bearing
- $17 (on sale right now)
So they move a little bit less air, use a little bit less power, and are a little bit less noisy, but cost a little bit more. So yeah, the Scythe is a it a better buy, but they are real close.

If you're looking for some nice fans for interior living space mining rigs, we have used these on a couple of rigs and I like them allot. Very quiet for the amount of air they move and a 6 year warranty. Pretty cheap too all things considered. They are not industrial Delta screamers but they have done the job for a rig of Rx 480s as well as a mixed rig with GTX 1060, 1070 and 1080 Ti in it. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16835186079

I have 3 + 2 = 5 in house rigs 3 big rigs 7+7+8 smos a 4 card and a 1 card win 10 27 cards total------------------------------------------ 2 + 4 = 6 solar array rigs two 3 card rigs two 4 card rigs two 5 card rigs 24 card total___________________________________ ____________________________________ 3 + 0 = 3 office rigs ------- these are two card rigs 6 cards total14 rigs using 57 cards I can add 4 cards in the garage I can add 6 cards in the solar array I have 1 card on the way. I may order a few today or tomorrow.

The Arctic F12s have kept our Rx 480 rig in the 70s and our mixed Nvidia rig in the 50s/60s temperature wise (summer temps they're abit cooler now in winter) and not been noticeable noise wise. I think they have their uses in a living space setup...

I only run a lenovo m700 tiny in the basement den it has 4 compac sticks and xmr mines with a i7 cpu. setup is whisper quiet and runs on 90 watts or less. 2 kwatts a day costing 25 cents and the xmr earns 1 dollar the compact sticks are pointed at bravo-mining pool and could get a nice bonus if they hit a block plus they earn a few bucks a month the garage setup is quiet enough to allow the door to me open and warm the den and the house . ambient noise in the den is under 50db.

We run 20" 2600 cfm box fans in our barn ( mostly 1 for every stack of 2 rigs) and they work great, even in the summer months we almost always had them on Medium speed. A hotter climate might need more then that, but as long as that air is getting vented outside is the most important thing.

Hey @phillipma1957 what are my chances of getting two Onda v2 8 slot boards by the end of the year? I don't need to take delivery but want them paid for in calendar year 2017.
I'm pretty sure I don't want to deal with risers anymore. Just built my second four card 1080 Ti rig and the risers were a bitch. One of them ended up being bad or incompatible and it costs me a ton of time. Plus, risers are such a kludge when I see that I can build a multi GPU system with one of these new motherboards.
