If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
If I will be able to accept that kind of amount, I will be surely get into shock because it already cost too much for just a gift. I will surely hold and save it for better because I know its potential of growing and since I do not have anything to spend it with, I will just save it and wait for a moment that will trigger me to sell it or exchange it into a real money.

I convert 0.3BTC into ether. And keep this for 6 months as a long term trade.

I hold 0.3BTC in my wallet. I never cash it out before $10k clearly.

I use 0.4BTC on day trading, this would generate me some income every week.

0.4 BTC isn't nearly enough to day trade and to be able to make a living off of. I personally would never day trade, especially to support myself fully without a day job, with less than $10,000. Even that is risky, it's hard to make a return as small as 1% a day as stable income these days, especially with bitcoin and eth climbing slowly, but falling so fast.

looking for a signature campaign, dm me for that

What? Couldn't imagine having that one but that's really a very cool gift or token to have from someone. I will gladly keep it in my wallet and wait for the proper time to cash it out.

If 1 bitcoin is worth on today's peaked of 5000 I will surely exchange half of it to our local currency and cash it out.. I really need cashed at this particular moment.. So the remaining 0.5 will be breakdown 0.25 to holding in my wallet and other 0.25 will be exchanged to top three altcoin that is promising and worth to invest with.. Lastly it's better late than never,, I will thank the one who give me those and promised to be given him the same amount on profits in the future..

If someone gives me 1 BTC, I will instantly redeem it and use it for my purposes. But I do not think that will happen, because everyone must have their own needs. So I tried to get 1 BTC with my own ability and hard work. I'm not the type of person who expects something that will never happen.
Hmmm. .... it is true, I don't think there will be people who give away free 1 btc them. If ever there was a just a few percent only. because each person will surely use it to fullfill the needs of their own. you better put together its own btc with exertion alone then you will feel satisfied. so don't ever expect anything that it is not possible or will not happen because that is something impossible.

You can actually split the btc into 2 half. If you are not good or familiar with trading then you can keep 0.5 btc as a investment in btc itself and rest 0.5 btc you can buy some couple of good altcoins. And then whenever you wish to convert back to btc you can do it and buy back btc again and cash it out. In this way you may get better returns as altcoins may rise quickly.

Wow. Having 1 bitcoin in the current time for just a gift is really awesome and shocking because can you just imagine what is the bitcoin price rate now? Having such great count for a gift makes you a very blessed person because someone has given you a great gift to have. If I were on that scenario, I will surely keep it, save it and hold it because bitcoin has a great potential to grow.

Once upon a time (30 years ago) I was a student. I'm from a Eastern European country and I was earning that time like 5-10 USD/month. Wanting to make some money I have started to sell some goods to other students. I remember that one of these students that bought my goods had a 1 USD into a jar. I asked him to give me that 1 USD and I kept it for 20 years (I remember the day I sold it, I was very hungry and had no money).

I'll do the same if I were given 1 Bitcoin by someone. I'll keep it 20-30 years (now I'm 49 years old) and I wouldn't sell it very easy.

If i have 1BTC as gift, i would rather save it and wait for the trading price to rise double, triple or maybe 5x the price than the current trading price. And try to understand the trading inflation, and at the end of the day its my decision that will prevail wether or not trade it or wait for the price hike.

I think right now the price of Bitcoin is really high and if I get a gift of 1BTC then I will start saving 50% and rest 50% I will start investing into a different form of Bitcoin like trading, Investment etc. It is always good to divert our money into different form because we don't know what will happen in the next hour to our investment.

I will trade with 1 Bitcoin is regardless of profit or loss it was later because Bitcoin is obtained from the prize so I'm not afraid to lose it.

I will definitely hold it, 1 bitcoin now is worth $4500 but in the next month it can be $5000 if I hold it longer it maybe can reach $10k, so the longer I hold the better the value will be, it can be a great investment for me
I prefer to just hold it not to invest it, the sites nowadays is full with scammer so I like to play safe
I will not hold, a bitcoin is a gift and you should use it reasonably, you are always in the safe zone and if you can not get out of it, you will never become rich with bitcoin. I will use that bitcoin to trade altcoin, and of course, if I earn a bitcoin, I'll return that bitcoin to the sender because life always revolves around a rule that you get something, you will have to return that or pay something for the equivalent price. If you keep it and do not pay it back, you will lose more than what you get
It is absurd to use bitcoins to trade for altcoins. Altcoins are totally wastage of time, they are shitty and we should not waste our bitcoins for any altcoins. Bitcoins are most expensive right now and we should treat them with care. That’s so nice if you intend to return that person gifted bitcoins.

I'll definitely hold it if I'm familiar with it. Really, it's a gift. It's not like I'd lose money from not immediately cashing out. Nothing to lose.

I'm assuming the giver also expect me to hold it, else he/she would have just given me cash or an actual present.

If it was truly a gift. I would reinvest it into mining hardware since I have free power and make even more with it and then give it back or pay it forward.

Giving bitcoin as a type of gift to someone will be surely mean to me one that the person who have gaven me a bitcoin is a rich person with lots of bitcoin holdings. Going back, if I will be given a chance to get 1 bitcoin as a gift it will be a great blessing to me that I will surely treasure for a long period of time since I know that bitcoin has a big potential to grow letting me to gain a larger amount that is equivalent to the quantity of bitcoin I can have.

I will be on cloud nine if someone gifts me 1 bitcoin.I am not sure whether i will hold it or not.It will depend on the situation that is if i am in an urgent need of money then definitely i will use it up or otherwise i will wait for its value to increase more.
Bitcoin is increasing in price and it is growing very fast soon the price of the one bitcoin will be enough to make me, you and all of us rich so I will be very happy to see if someone will give me 1 bitcoin as a gift. If someone will give me one bitcoin I will instantly redeem it and will keep it save for me so that it will encourage me to earn more income and the more bitcoin so I will be happy to have bitcoin as a gift.

At first I thought it's some address with those characters as I would be willing to accept a vanity address with 7 customized characters lol. But 1 bitcoin would still be a great gift and I would keep it for the next 2 years or so, and that is if I don't have the need to have immediate cash by my hand. Also, I can use that into some great trading opportunities to further increase what was given to me in the first place.

If you ask me. Of course this is not what I will sell. especially when it's very difficult to accumulate and it's too high when it comes to money changers.

If I could give it to me I would accept it wholeheartedly. And I really appreciate it. Because if that happens then I will really enjoy it. I will now receive it all my life so I am the lucky one to receive it. I'm really grateful
