Bitcoin has the same purpose with money. Anything that money does, bitcoin can also do. It's not shocking anymore that bitcoin will be used in illegal matters. And also Bitcoin is more convenient is this type of transaction since one's identity can hardly be traced.
Indeed. Any one who is commiting and will do crimes will do anything just to do it. So like you said, whether it was in the form of cash or bitcoin, they will still do it for the sake of committing crimes. Bitcoin is the best way to do such acts because like you said, no one can trace your identity. That’s not the fault of bitcoin that it is used in the false activities and according to survey and before bitcoin in the crime activities cash money was used was it the fault of cash it is the fault of person using it so don’t blame bitcoin over this and there are serious concern for the regions on this and they are sorting out so that illegal activities can be tracked and this use can be stop and in future this will happen. |

I think it can happen also. That's maybe the worst ever happen with bitcoin. Its really a broad idea on how to regulate these crimes. I just hope that those using it for good and best welfare of everyone will not be included. This is invented by human beings so probably there should be some formal conference about this between the authorities and the inventors of bitcoin. Well, these are just my ideas and opinion. As for now, we'll just pray for peace and order.

Bitcoin may help crime individuals in the way authorities define what is crime and what is not. For example in some country holding alcohol is not a crime but selling alcohol is crime then if a dealer sells alcohol with bitcoin he does not do a crime, because bitcoin is not money. And many other cases as well, such as avoiding taxes, illigal international tranfers etc.
But you know what, the fact that kitchen knives is common tool for crimes does not mean it is gonna be forbidden. Same with bitcoin

Bitcoin is better than any traditional currency, decentralized system where we do not depend from government will. I do not hate current bank system, over the years people are using that system to become more rich on other people misery and that is how whole world works. With new system that bitcoin offer to use we can see better days. Criminals in suits and with guns will use any medium to fulfill their intentions, bitcoin is just a tool for them and if they can they will use what ever is on their way. I think the same as you as you can see from my words. Traditional currency can be a knife, bitcoin is laser cuter. When you use bitcoin you need to open computer to make transactions and it is transparent, I like idea behind it criminals will be able to hide their actions. |

This causes the bitcoin became popular and thus it affects its demmand.People are free of there actions so they can do whatever they want especially with bitcoin.Crimes are everywhere and criminals really finds way how they can transact such a big money and they see the opportunity that using bitcoin can help them untraceable and p2p transaction is so easy.We know that bitcoin is not created to do such criminal activity but we cant control people's mind doing such bad intention.

To be honest this time I just found out that bitcoin can be used for crime, so we all have to be alert and vigilant, so we will not be trapped or get crime from people who abuse or use bitcoin names for crime, thanks for the information, so who who do not know now can be more careful. Any currency in the world can be used in the "dark web". Money laundering happens with both bitcoin and fiat currencies. Bitcoin offers more anonymity? Yes,of course.. but that doesn't mean bitcoin is the only currency used in crimes.. Money is a tool that helps us human make transactions and bitcoin offers us a more reliable way to do that,without the centralization and control of banks and governments.  |

Op dollar or fiat has also been used and is still used in crimes and even if bitcoin were to die tomorrow, it's use in crimes would stop but the crimes won't. Like it's already been said a lots of times before digital as well as fiat both currencies can be used and misused, it can't be stopped without governments and public strong determination to put a stop to all the crimes and criminals. Yes we should be careful as to not become part of any such crime and not become victims of such crimes.

I believe one day someone can invent a program that can trace the blockchain paths to resolve the identity of a bitcoin wallet owner. Or else the government can use the crimes scenario to discourage other people to use bitcoin

My husband and I still talked about part of bitcoin's disadvantages; being used by corrupt leaders to store money for themselves without banks being able to trace it and monitor their finance as at before when financial monetary bodies could pokenose and question their increased earnings. I do hope there will be a somewhat check to this anonymity. Though, there's almost always a bad side to every good technology.

Good point of view, We should not look to bitcoin from the negative side, bitcoin have a lot of good things, and also people decide which side they decide to follow, bad or good side of bitcoin. Personally, I use bitcoin because it have a lot of advatnages that i didn't see it in our real currency, It's too secure and our transactions is untracked, Furthermore, we have the Full control, even we can set our fees of transactions, It's really awesome. |
