The Bitcoin name is ruined by those people that use its name for scamming. Scamming is a crime that take other people money without permission and not giving it back. People now a day try to scam people like telling them if you investment your profit per day will increase or your investment will be doubled in  just a month or so. People can be easily be fouled due to lack of knowledge.

Yes, nowadays it’s being used in crime, they buy and sell online and pay by bitcoin. Because it’s untraceable. So police can’t get clue to caught them. I think it’s dangerous.

Dont assume this. yes, bitcoin has been used for crime since its inception. but the blockchain is very readable, due to the fact that most of us have to use some kind of a n exchange to convert value to fiat. these exchanges know who we are, so once you touch an exchange account with a series of transactions from your original wallet, then you dont know if you identity has been compromised, or will be under scrutiny.

It is true that bitcoin is used in crimes, but remember, in the digital world, it is possible knowing who you are, who you deal with, people you know and places you've been because each time you make a click you leave a digital trail. Remember your IP can be determined which can be used by law enforcement agencies to determine social media profiles you frequently access which may give a clue of who you are and where you are if the crime in question poses a threat to international security. Only for those people who has such intention to do bad can use bitcoin for some negative things. Because bitcoin is untraceable this is also why some government do not want bitcoin because of it. I read some articles claiming that bitcoin can be used to commit a crime because of bitcoin is untraceable and do not have tax but it is only on the people, who are using bitcoin if they use bitcoin for good it's benefit us but if some people are planning to use it doing crime it may have a bad effect in the cryptocurrency/bitcoins.

There was an article on newspaper in India that Bitcoin fuels the crime rate.. People buying drugs and guns and many illegal things using btc.. I am worried about what will happen in the future.

Another is the crime of buying illegal-drug emporium that used Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, politicians and policymakers took notice. Criminals, it turns out, really like bitcoins, which can be exchanged for nefarious purposes on the "Dark Web," with complete anonymity and, it seems, impunity.

Although, there are some articles that i have read regarding criminals cannot hide behind bitcoins, still, there are difficulties tracing transactions using cryptocurrencies. That is why law enforcement agencies should have a to change their procedures to pursue criminals who make use of the latest technology to commit crimes. Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.

Bitcoin has the power to transfer money anonymously. Bitcoin doesn't require you to show your real identity in transacting and transfering money to other people. And this is the ability of Bitcoin that attracts the criminals to do bad things. And yes, all currency has been used in crimes and also cryptocurrency. I'm so tired of hearing this.  When it comes to crime, cash is king.  Go stand outside the corner liquor store in the hood and try to buy a crack rock with bitcoin.  I've seen huge piles of cash taken from cartel kingpins that can fill a room but I've never heard of a drug kingpin involved in a shootout with the Federales because he was protecting his hoard of Dash coins.  Don't believe the hype.

Bitcoins are now a days being used for illegal purposes which are now creating a problem for the governments to trace out.But looking upon the situation now its traceable and have eye upon the activities done through btc.Monero is totally untraceable where its totally impossible to trace out the transactions done through Monero.So its more riskier than the btc!!!

Its depend to the users if they use it for crimes or in good ways. Other country are only working here in bitcoin to change their life status or financial supplemental too.

However in other country they use it for their own demands like buying drugs, guns and even life they hire a hitman to kill because only their want it.
