The bot net consists of multiple machines, if their hash power is too great they can split by making virtual machines. This doesn't take away any of the concerns I have raised, you simply delete my post and ignore the problem. Valid concern is not FUD it is valid concern, saying I'm biased, not giving an inch, all my posts are FUD these are simply personal attacks, fallacies I won't consider them as a valid argument. You haven't provided any argument against the problems, nor will you be able to because decentralised consensus cannot depend on trust. You cannot centralise a crypto currency on a single organisation especially not if they did not accept the position of responsibility. I'll leave a link to a mirror of my previous post: https://web.archive.org/web/20180209120532/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.msg29924334Sure, please leave the posts out of this forum, anyone who wants to read the FUD can read it. For an unbiased view, I assert the following reason with 100% certainty the botnet is busted using this system: In order to heat-mine in DC you must have an associated valid signed CPID, with > 10 RAC. (RAC means the level decays over time, so the machine must be working). You cannot solve a block unless you have not solved one within 10 blocks. Adding this rule to testnet now. It takes a few days to ramp up > 10 RAC, making the vector impossible to scale horizontally in reality (with multiple cpids and multiple VMs) , as it takes real power to maintain 10 RAC. If you are expending real power, you are cancer researching and you are not part of the botnet. The botnet is busted with certainty. Now please dont post any more fud here, this statement above is non-biased and true.

** IMPORTANT UPDATE **
I pushed out 1.0.8.8q yesterday with a sanctuary protocol version of 70716, however 99% of the prod network is on 70715 currently.
Normally this would be OK, as the client specifically honors version 70716 or *lower*, unless we issue a mandatory requiring 70716+.
But an issue has just been discovered, where clients who vote on proposals from 70716 - those votes are not being counted on 70715 sancs, this is apparently by design, but does not honor the design principle set in the rest of the code.
To combat this, since we are so close to the monthly superblock, I am going to *downgrade* 1.0.8.9 back to the 70715 sanctuary protocol version, so that our latest votes will tally correctly.
So in summary here is all you have to do in prod:
** Please do Not upgrade to 1.0.8.8q, wait until the next release ** ** Do not Upgrade your Sanctuary to 1.0.8.8q **
** This should be ready in 4 hours ** ** You only need the client if you are testing in testnet **

Something strange is going on with the pool shares and logical machines.
Also, over 20% of my miners are now in the "My Missing Miners" section.

Yeah, last night I raised the minimum difficulty of the pool by 100% per share, as I thought too many small miners were solving shares. Ok, I lowered it to in-between the old level and the new level. Please monitor this going forward.

I'll comment on the FUD in a minute, but on the Fake News comment: Although I don't believe Donald Trump "was" a strong Christian over the years, with his past womanizing history and gambling casinos there is no reason to believe he has not repented and become a Christian lately. Expecially with Pence under him.
So, I believe the Fake News comments are True. They are Fake News because there is more evidence that a certain faction hates him and wants to hatch an evil plan to make him lose credibility. The news organization went downhill when Obama came in. The supermajority have a clear list of "illuminati approved" articles they are going to make the news with.
The Fake News is the news to drag Trump down.
Hes a man being controlled by God, through Gods grace he is in power - gracing the sinners a little more time to repent, before the whole house burns down.
That is absolutely correct comment. It's just sad that many Christians still cannot see that.

Any know how to get CPU usage down on Vultr VPS service when running BBP wallets, they have limited my instances due to excess CPU usage. Do I need to decrease genprolimit to 1 when running BBP wallet to get <100% CPU usage.
You can try but when I tried it it was still ~98% or so. They probably will accept 98%, so setting at 1 will likely work.

As I said. Daily BBP volume on SouthXchange is cca. 200 USD. Useless.
southXchange only provides the trading platform, the BBP community has to provide volume/liquidity.

Everyone receives the same share difficulty however, so its all relative.

Hi Rob, Is this release for non-testers, too? Should I build a Ubuntu package for this release?

Hi Rob, Is this release for non-testers, too? Should I build a Ubuntu package for this release? Hi Lic, If we had any PPMs on 1088, then Yes, as we will need to give them the ability to upgrade. (If our last version was 1087 not necessarily.) I would go ahead with it as it mines and works fine as a controller wallet, and votes, so it should be safe now. Thanks! Rob

Not sure how this all works sorry.

The idea of having a pool is so a little tiny laptop can be paid regularly as they solve shares - multiple shares - per day.
