Some pools ask email for settings/notifications.

Code:
excavator -a equihash -s zec-eu1.nanopool.org:6666 -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL
Code:
miner.exe --server zec-eu1.nanopool.org --user YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.YOUR_WORKER_NAME/YOUR_EMAIL

Can you add this function, so bminer will send YOUR_EMAIL?

Or it is already can be done?

I had a workaround with email for current version, what you can do is to escaped "/" + your email address,
which means change '/' to '%2F' and '@' to '%40'.
for example, to add your email foobar@gmail.com:

Code:
bminer -uri stratum+ssl://<your wallet address>.worker%2Ffoobar%40gmail.com:x@zec-eu1.nanopool.org:6633

Hi, i now testing compare with dstm, and it seems this miner is a few percent faster like others said. But on some rigs i have problem, that some GPUs are not load at full.

example, rig with 3x1070 with dstm all GPUs are on 99-100%, but with Bminer, only GPU 0 and 2 are on this. GPU1 is only 94% load
On rig with 4x1070 GPU 0,1 and 3 at full load, but GPU2 again only 94%

Like i said, with dstm or ewbf are all gpus at full load, no other change.

p.s. on 1070ti... this is awesome, where i had 480 with dstm, with bminer i have 500sols, awesome. But again, on rig with 4x1070ti+2x1060 I have problem, that some gpus are not at full load and all rig is slower compare with dstm wgich is ok.

I have no idea where can be problem.

My guess is that the temperature might be too high --- can you please share some screenshots of the UI and the results of nvidia-smi?

I dont think there is a problem with temperature, because other miner havent this problem with same settings, here si screen.

https://ibb.co/g20shG
https://ibb.co/jiGnGb

and rig with 3x1070ti + 1x1070 + 2x1060 3GB

DSTM http://ibb.co/gaTqmb
Bminer http://ibb.co/khbMsG

Same problem with 3 1080ti

First GPU says 99% Utilization, other only 90%
Screen: https://ibb.co/ntmipw

May I know which versions of Windows are you using?

There are some combinations of driver versions and Windows 10 that will slow down the GPU commands. It is not happening on every configuration but I'm trying to mitigate the issue.

The Linux version does not have this problem.

Windows 10 Pro x64 1709, latest updatest. Drivers on some rigs - 388.13, 388.59. 388.71. I tried clean install of driver, no changes, problem is only with bminer, others are 99-100% load on gpu.
HW is different, Asus Z270p + Celeron G3930, or Gigabyte B250-HD3P+Pentium G4560 and other

I started using this miner and I like it. I have a big issue with it though: many times the error message does not state which GPU crashed, it just says "Unrecoverable errors" without identifying which GPU. DSTM is better in that regard, as it always states which GPU and hence allows me to fine tune overclocking in rigs with many GPUs. Could you please add clear GPU ids in the error messages to allow us to parse logs and automate other functions?

Also, with bminer I get errors that do not produce a Xid error in the kernel -- this is weird and it's the first time it happens. All other miners I used (for various coins) trigger a Xid error. It sounds like some crashes are in fact bminer's fault rather than the hardware or too much overclocking. I have no way of debugging it though being closed source.

How can I get it to work with Multi Pool Hub?  I tried different combinations of settings but MPH won't show the worker's progress.  bminer itself runs without any errors.

Thankx

Nevermind, got it to work now.

Settings I used with Mining Pool Hub ( MPH ):
-uri stratum://user.worker@location.miningpoolhub.com:port

I like the api function, nice web info.  The CPU usage is a little higher than what I would like, I'm running GTX 1070 x6.  CPU is about 55%.
Worth the 2% dev fee, I hope it gets better.

I have found this to be considerably slower than DSTM.

I tested on a rig with 6 EVGA GTX 1080 FTW.  Using the exact same overclock settings I was getting 560-580 Sols on DSTM.

ID   DEVICE NAME   °C   ∅ SOL/S   ∅ SOL/W   ∅ WATT   SHARES   LAT
0   GeForce GTX 1080   37   572.70   3.51   163.10   5 / 0   0
1   GeForce GTX 1080   54   575.15   3.50   164.54   5 / 0   16
2   GeForce GTX 1080   55   562.95   3.55   158.51   6 / 0   16
3   GeForce GTX 1080   47   577.00   3.53   163.31   3 / 0   0
4   GeForce GTX 1080   48   579.03   3.52   164.65   2 / 0   0
5   GeForce GTX 1080   54   581.67   3.54   164.25   6 / 0   0
Total   -   3448.49   3.52   978.37   27 / 0   16

With Bminer, I am getting 523-541 Sols.

Details
Device ID   Temperature (℃)   Power (W)   Speed (Sols / S)   Efficiency (Sols / W)
0   37   167   541.45   3.24
1   55   168   535.03   3.18
2   57   165   524.76   3.18
3   49   168   538.00   3.20
4   49   165   537.75   3.26
5   56   160   539.37   3.37

Also, I use AwesomeMiner and there is currently no support to get the stats back into AwesomeMiner.

Sadly, stability issues.  Miner quit after 30 minutes, another quit after about 1 hour.

Just stopped using 3.0 and swapped to 4.0.

Constantly crashes when mining on 4.0.

I think the GPU id is available in the error message. The error message looks like "Irrecoverable errors from miner in GPU 0 ..."

The Xid error I have ever seen is due to hardware errors. Can you paste the error logs here?

bminer is tested extensively under Linux and I'm not aware of Xid errors that are caused by the miner itself. However, bminer does stretch the GPU a little bit more for even more hashrate, so if you overclock the GPU you might want to tune the parameters a little bit.

Are you using the 4.0.0 release? The newer release should be okay.

Can you paste the screenshots for task manager / top to see how the CPU cycles are used?

Running 4 - gtx1080 and 4 - gtx1080ti cards

So what's the difference?  Why are the speeds so different between v3 and v4?

Thanks!

Running 4 - gtx1080 and 4 - gtx1080ti cards

So what's the difference?  Why are the speeds so different between v3 and v4?

Thanks!
I can confirm that. v4 hashrates are lower than v3 on all my 8 GPUs. At least the numbers displayed in cmd window.

Running this using systemd automatically timestamps all output so you can add an option to disable the miner's timestamp output?

Code:

Running this using systemd automatically timestamps all output so you can add an option to disable the miner's timestamp output?

I second this for the Windows version, too - I don't need any miner to tell me what time it is. I would, however, like a running total of how long it has been mining, though. That helps me keep everyone honest (pool and miner).

No, you do not specify the GPU id in all error messages. Here's an example:

Code:
[FATA] [2018-01-03T16:05:03Z] Fatal cuda error. Terminate soon...
[WARN] [2018-01-03T16:05:08Z] Miner died! It will be restarted soon...

Just search your source code for error messages and you'll see which ones do not specify the GPU id.

Also, you misunderstood my point about Xid kernel driver errors. Once again, some of the errors reported by bminer are NOT also accompanied by a Xid driver error (in kern.log). No other miner does this. It's a problem when bminer doesn't report the GPU id in the error message since I have no idea which GPU is at fault (no Xid, no GPU id in bminer error).

Also, if the miner reports a problem with the hardware but the nvidia driver sees nothing wrong, then it's likely that you have a bug in your code. No other miner has this behavior - I tested dstm, ewbf, ethminer, claymore, ccminer for a long time; all errors reported by these miners are accompanied by Xid errors - that is, a hardware fault did indeed occur.

I don't think bminer is tested as extensively as you claim - it can't, really, given how new it is.

My system is a Ubuntu 16.04, nvidia 384.90, 384.98, 387.34, kernel 4.4.0.104.

I like bminer's speed though, which is why I'm taking the time to post here to help you.

Very nice.  I'm getting 191 sol/s on a 4GB GeForce 1050ti @ 1885 core/3888 mem.
