We’re pleased to release Bminer 10.4.0.

The release provides:

  • Add `-pers auto` option to support pools (e.g. zergpool.com) to automatically switch personalization string for equihash144,5 mining.

Please see https://www.bminer.me for more details.

Happy mining!

I have 4 cards in my setup: 1x980Ti, 1x980, 2x970
All versions (10.0 – 10.4) are crashing at start of Zhash mining with cuda error in last GPU. With one GPU disabled (no matter which) it works good.

UPD. Fixed.

It seems that the last hardware may be broken.

Hi realbminer,

Not sure if you are aware of this but I am experiencing a issue with using your miner at equipool.1ds.us mining BitcoinZ.

Your mine_equihash1445.sh example script does work correctly at 2miners.com for me in Linux.

I have modified it for the address and pool to point at equipool using the BitcoinZ community fund wallet for testing as I intent to include it in the next release of ZhashOS.

Here is the script:

#!/bin/sh

# Change the following address to your Equihash1445 addr.
ADDRESS=t3cEmCiE9q2So7m7fBi8awEcS6BRDR8LHN9

USERNAME=$ADDRESS.w
POOL=mine-btcz-na.equipool.1ds.us:50062
SCHEME=equihash1445

# =====================================================================
# Change pers according to the coin you want to mine. For example:
# Coin:         Pers
# BitcoinZ:     BitcoinZ
# Safe Coin:    Safecoin
# ZelCash:      ZelProof
# SnowGem:      sngemPoW
# Bitcoin Gold: BgoldPoW
# You can also use PERS=auto for certain pools, e.g. altpool, zergpool
# =====================================================================
PERS=BitcoinZ

./bminer -uri $SCHEME://$USERNAME@$POOL -api 127.0.0.1:1880 -pers $PERS

#################### Script End ###############################

When I run this script, I get these errors:

For what it is worth. EWBF,miniZ and Gminer are tested mining correctly there. My first thoughts are there may be a stratum incompatibility between your miner and equipool. But since the other three miners *do* work there, I am leaning that the issue may be on your side.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I was curious to try this for ethash, but it doesn't work under Ubuntu 16.04 for me with CUDA 9.1 and 390.48 drivers. Error is "Failed to initialize miner for device 0, with err: Failed to create solver"

Code:
[INFO] [2018-10-16T20:32:48+03:00] Subscribed to stratum server
[INFO] [2018-10-16T20:32:48+03:00] Authorized

[WARN] [2018-10-16T20:32:49+03:00] Miner died! It will be restarted soon...

I tried adding "-devices 1" and get the same thing:

Code:

[INFO] [2018-10-16T20:32:48+03:00] Authorized

No problems with ethminer or claymore.

Any clues?

You need to update Nvidia drivers to new version. I solve my problem after upgrade to 410.66
