Hey guys,

This morning I got word that Las Vegas Casinos are officially accepting BitCoin - you'll get all of the information needed google searching. Not to harp on what has already been said, but the speculation to push CSC to casinos should be as hot as ever.

My hope all along with future CSC development has been:
-- Online gambling sites accept CSC for play
-- Poker tournament sites dedicated to CSC play
-- Vegas Casino adoption of CSC

Of course things take time, funding has been sparse with the dwindling interest, and people fear that there's a weak future. As a community we need to take the opportunity to develop CSC further - anybody fearing this is busting needs to change their attitude and create something positive through this! Guys, we have a great opportunity to see some progress in the coming weeks; there are plenty of investors and programmers interested in crypto that will look at BTC alternatives for eventual Vegas adoption. Time to start looking at CSC as a possible option!

We also got Lottocoin suggesting they are the prominent gambling coin (they do have a lot of sites though).

(Disclosure: I do have some LOT in my wallet too.. just in case, but if I had to bet, i'd bet on CSC)

They have gotten a lot of recognition but they don't have the name and have a lot of coins.

Any large amount of money being pumped into a 1B+ supply of coins - valued at such a small amount, I'd bet on the possibility of a large crash: potentially manipulated.

Not saying it can rebound, but this growth rate is unsustainable for LOT.

Something like this, maybe a big skype or IRC meetup when we can all attend/view!

Is it just me or are some things broken on the new casinocoin.org website?
The wallet download seems to go nowhere and the main website goes to an empty page.
The images are all stretched out. All in all, this does not look good for PR.

At the moment I am re-doing the dotorg website as transcoder has chosen to keep the domain at, casinoco.in !
All of the downloads etc are there Smiley
The new casinocoin.org website should be up by the end of the week depending on how I am feeling have some horrible strep throw. Either way I am going to get up shower and fix the links there for the time being thanks for the heads up!
Cheers

Got a generous donation today that will help with this:
Bounties:
Browser Wallet- Example: dogevault (2500 CSC) Allow me to host the website (2500 CSC + 0.06 BTC)
Graphic for CasinoCoin.org - Example: worldcoinfoundation - They have an "eye-catching" Banner across the front (3 Spots x 250 CSC EA)

Total of 3250 CSC up for grabs here + the extra BTC.

What we really need at this moment is this for CSC: https://www.dogevault.com/

The mobile wallet i am developing keeps the real wallet on a server and as i am developing the mobile site of things with jQuery Mobile and Phonegap most of the userinterface code can be easily adapted for a normal jQuery browser app. The entire backend i am building (which is now about 60% done) will be reusable for a browser wallet as is, because the functionality is the same. So when i am done i think i will add the browser component so a user has access both from a browser and a mobile phone to one and the same wallet.

Advantage of the mobile version is the easy support for QR code scanning, working on that right now. If casinocoin city generates a qr code for the deposit address a user can easily scan it with his phone and make the transfer. Also working on importing and generating paper wallets. Not only for security reasons but also that way e.g. casinocoin city can generate giveaway cards with 50, 100, 250 CSC (or whatever amount) to users which they can import into their wallet to play with at the casino. (so we have to make sure that it can only be transfered to the casino in that case)

This is only getting better now!

Just a quick update, I've dropped an email to CoinEx.pw and Bter.com to consider listing CasinoCoin on their exchanges. Also sent an email to Coins-E.com support to re-enable CasinoCoin (currently under the 'Coins under maintenance' section). If there are any other reputable exchanges that you would like to see CSC listed on, post it here and I will be in contact with them.

@Herschy, I just sent an email to the Pocket Rocket Casino admin to consider accepting CasinoCoin onto their site. I'll keep you posted.

Anyone else have any suggestions or can point me to other online gaming sites / casinos that currently accept alternative cryptocurrencies (besides Bitcoin-only sites)? If you could post links and contact info, I will get in touch with these operators and have them consider adding CasinoCoin to their gaming platforms.

Now that the CasinoCoin API has been updated, I'm now moving onto addressing the difficulty adjustment issue with an update to the CasinoCoin client. Lots of suggestions found in this thread as well as PMs...I will need to look at these closely, as well as do some further research on my own, then address this in a later post.

I though you made the diff adjustment changes already. Block time is 6 seconds right now. How is this possible?

Yes please and quick! Today on the Multipool rape train we are going to end up with a diff of 5+, or about 10 minutes per block once the hashrate goes back down, or infinite because you know, everyone will leave because there will be -50% profit on mining the coin, eg: wasted electricity. I should say, the network hash rate capped out at 1 Gh today before diff adjustment to 1.8 caused them to all drop back out, but that's still a 5 minute per block diff.

Because the network hashrate jumped so high that the diff response to keep it at 30s per block can't keep up with diff readjustment every 750 blocks. Only way to really fix this is a diff readjustment at a very fast rate, which will allow for realtime network difficulty.

Is CasinoCoin on Twitter? If not, I think it is important that someone makes a Twitter account for it and is active on Twitter. It is also a good place to build some hype for CasinoCoinCity.

In order to get some users for CasinoCoinCity that is not only from the current community there needs to be some hype, attention and excitement about the "new big thing", CasinoCoinCity Smiley

If anyone has a blog or something that would also be a great place to spread the word. Or doing some blog comments.

I believe one of the most important thing for CasinoCoin currently is to spread the word or we will continue to see the price going down.

CasinoCoin is now on FB, Twitter and Google+  I'm working with CasinoCoin to get these moving as they are invaluable in getting the word, and the amazing branding out there.

Would everyone please take the time to visit and join these pages - hit like, retweet, share and +1 on everything please!  You'd be amazed at how much this will help.

FB - https://www.facebook.com/CasinoCoin?fref=ts
Twitter - https://twitter.com/CasinoCoin
Google+ https://plus.google.com/u/0/116637659512134712478/posts  (this will change to /CasinoCoin as soon as CasinoCoin (the dev) has time to add the code to the web site

I'm working with CasinCoin to create a Dev Community where we can all work on the project together - hopefully details of this will be available later today.

Go CasinoCoin!

Hey guys just working on the new casinocoin.org website and was looking for 3 testimonials about the coin or the devs that we could feature on the homepage. Things that will not only help the overall thought on the coin, but the dedication that is involved around it etc. 100CSC for each one i choose that's 300 CSC total for this little giveaway.

I have been following the development of CasinoCoin for some time.  Having seen the dedication of the devs and the community around this project, I just had to join in and am now contributing to the project.  These guys are working really hard to produce what really could be the best virtual currency for online gambling, and the community around it are contributing so much.  It's a rare thing to see such dedication to a project like this from so many, which just wants me to contribute more!  The devs and community are doing everything they can to keep this coin fair and give everyone a chance to get in on the action, rather than just creating a coin for the sake of making a quick profit.  In summary - dedication, communication and community.  I suggest you jump in as soon as you can!  This is a solid community determined to succeed.

Hear, Hear, ... about two months ago i decided that from the about 30 new scrypt based coins CSC was one of the few with an actual real purpose and the one with the biggest potential. I believe this coin has the potential to grow from 0.01 dollar now to over 1 dollar in a year. Mine or buy CSC at low prices while you can!
