just curious, but 110v or 240v?? i'm assuming 240v but from your home or do you rent business space?? been crunching numbers lately.. wanted to add a 240v breaker box for my servers and then mining came along.. i'm fine up to 200A - was going to allocate 50A for starters.. keep reminding the wife not to plug the vacuum into room with "all the computer crap".. ups protected, but she just keeps bringing it all down.. the whole breaker thing is too much Smiley

I own my own business so I have my farm setup there at my building. Already have 600 amp 3-Phase power to my facility so I just added twin 30A 240v breakers for the farm.  Sized each breaker to handle 5 rigs (each with four 280xs).  Only running 8 rigs currently. The heat output sucks so im getting quotes for A/C systems. Will need them if we want to expand.

i actually found your pic's.. very nice.. got some nice power toys in there.. very jealous Smiley i can imagine.. the heats getting pretty bad now with cards maxed all day - only a ceiling fan to push some air out.. i really can't add anything meaningful without a small a/c unit in the room and/or ventilation, and more power.. i have 32 sata drives running in 2 servers, 4 systems for tv viewing, switches and the normal crap.. only low-power nvidia cards, 1-2 years old.. no mining investment to date.. $8-$12/day on average - $25.00 yesterday.. have to stop mining on the nvidia cards next month if i want them to last.. they run way too hot..

that's good to know.. i was planning on 2-3 systems per breaker to leave some room, but may just bump that up.. depends on costs and what i find laying around the old man's garage.. thanks for that..

Yes I agree with Asics in the sence that they are less power , I mean look! if there going to come then let them come... But the issue with this - Pre-order (Risk) Wait, 1st Batch comes (great) , But my worry with this is, I'm thinking by the time the 2nd batch is ready for shipping wouldn't we need a bigger and better asic then the one you have ordered? I mean if there were big companies like Intel making them I will feel much better pre-ordering. BUt these unknown companies just scare me.

I have a feeling your hashrate issues are still tied to your power outtage.  You probably burnt out your boards' VRMs or blew a few capacitors that reduced how long they could run at full tilt.  The power outtage didn't kill your rigs outright, but it did handicap your boards for endurance.

I definitely wouldn't blame the spooky high hashrate boogeyman botnet in the closet Wink
That's why a windows install didn't help all that much and why noone else is seeing the same hashrate drop you are.

That's a feasible explanation, And of course I don't believe the boogie man botnet has anything to do with it, But just scratching my head as to what's going on, Reason being, The rig is still hashing at the same high rate it was before the power cut, And showing 1.7-1.8 Mh/s on the WU: in CGminer , Plus I have another small pony hashing at 100 Kh/s in the WU:

So I can't understand how the graph reports me anything under 1.7-1.6 Mh/s, Its shown as little as 1.3 Mh/s at times, Even with a ton of rejects it would be better than that.

Only trouble now is the graphs aren't working at all now, So I wouldn't know.

Anyway I just thought I would let everybody on here know in case it wasn't just me.

Huh Huh

Mining is VERY competitive.  It's an arms race against the ASIC clock.  It's also a race against the rising difficulty clock.

Asics's are coming one way or another.  I still think it will be a while before they offer the performance/price that makes sense.  Also, it will take a generation or two to really get the kinks worked out.

But if you aren't either racing to get as much coin now as you can, then you are bringing up the rear because the rest of use are building farms.  We want to collect/cash in as much BTC as possible before ASICs drive the difficulty up so much that you actually NEED said asic to mine/survive in this hobby.

+1. Finally some adults around here.

Funny how kids around here like to play with their words just so they can 1up people on the Internet.

Where did I try to one up you? Who is the kid? Those dang kids! Kids are what 16 and under? Sorry to disappoint, no kid here.

Mining is still not competitive. There is a new coin every week. No one can mine every coin. So please stop.

ALSO, people that take mining as BUSINESS are not so smart. Lets use logic here.
Allow him his illusion of superiority, it's all he's got apparently to make him feel good about himself.

If he feels it's competitive, fine for him.  I'll just sit back and continue to mine away, perfectly happy with my profits and my strategic coin purchase.  I'm not in competition with anyone but myself.

I thought I was losing it.

Haha, probably true :] The real reason is most likely because he did something on the back-end that "broke" the software that renders the graphs (which H2O doesn't control). Payout was fine and other sites like the one I linked before are updating normally

Hey guys, here is the new tool I've developped to check the stats of all of my mining addresses on middlecoin. Just enter your addresses (one line by address) and let's go.

http://stratehm.net

BTW: it would be nice if you would also add "Total:" for BTC and Hash graph/data; I know that a Total BTC (immature+unexchanged+balance) is only aproximate, but it would still be nice to see a value and line for that, too.

Will be added in the next release.

New version released:
-Display performance (highly) improved
-Add an auto-refresh (every 10 minutes)
-Bookmarking should be fixed
-Added a Total for BTC

Unfortunately, the database has been reset. So data are available only since now. (It will still grow to 7 days).

You are welcome to give me some feedback in PM.

Very nice! You want to remove the 2 local charts on the right bottom side from the global area.

These charts are "Total charts" useful when you monitor several addresses. I will remove them for single address monitoring.
Moreover, I have seen that these charts are partially buggy. The autorefresh does not work for them...

You sir are the man!!!
I use it everyday, I am monitoring two adds, 4 280x rig and my 4 7950rig. Thank you so much for everything!
just send you 0.2 ltc Smiley

What just happened to my unexchanged??

Only started mining on the pool again yesterday (massive rejects seem to have solved themselves) and my unexchanged at the latest update went from 0.0484 to 0.0109 while my balance increased from 0.0202 to 0.0242. Seriously??? What on earth got exchanged that was worth 0.0375 a few hours ago and is worth 0.004 at exchange now?? I haven't seen any coin go down to a 10th of its value and most of the time yesterday it was mining DOGE anyway.

Should've just stayed at fast-pool I guess, my mistake.

Apple has a history of pulling Bitcoin related apps and blocking apps that use Bitcoin as a payment method. Probably more trouble than it's worth for independent devs.
