Currently Max and Cryptocoderz are working together on implementing POS for the POS/POW hybrid.

www.btc38.com is having trouble with the QRK wallet and you can't make deposits in QRK now.

Please help them fix it. It's still the exchange with the biggest volume right now, even if it gets added to bigger ones in the near future.

They are probablystalling to cut off supply and make their own market. QRK wallet works fine here.

We've submitted many tickets with information regarding the updated wallet with new checkpoints - so far, although they've thanked us for the information, they appear to have not updated for some reason. If any of our Chinese members here can reiterate to them that the 0.10.4.5 wallet should put them on the correct chain, please do so.

Its not going straight POS - it is being changed to hybrid POW/POS in order to improve network security.

Not angry at all - and I understand your point. Its a point I myself historically argued as well. However, I would consider the counter to the argument - that the inflation percentage is actually a means of payment for network security which is a critical component of the health of the coin. The price simply won't increase enough to make 0.5% viable without restoring confidence in the coins fundamentals - confidence won't be restored without some measure of change, and the 3% figure in my mind is reasonable - Bitcoin is currently at 3.94% (http://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/) after years of being substantially higher. I prefer the constant final supply in Quark to bitcoin's finite ultimate coin supply as it will provide constant mining and staking incentive into the future.

Any coin can be ressurected with a good team of devs and a good community.

We have a lot of work to do and the road ahead is very positive. This is a new beginning for Quark.

here are some jobs that we can all help with.

1. Contact all old Quark members that you know of and let them know that Quark is starting a new beginning.

2. Contact all old Quark website domain owners that are still live and let them know to update their site and join us, or we can buy the domain from them if they want to move on.

3. Social media pages that are Quark related, if we can reclaim them or start brand new ones.

4. Contact BTC38 by putting in a ticket and requesting them to upgrade to latest client https://github.com/quark-project/quark/releases/tag/v0.10.4.5

5. Post ideas of innovation that you believe is worth implementing so we can all discuss the pro's and con's.
