im so glad i got out this coin around a year ago, everyone complained about the lack of dev communication and no activity, no funds etc. i got involved with GetGems and it has the best and most proffessional dev team i ve seen in any alt + the project has huge potential. Quark is finished if u look for a coin with a future and active devs who can actually market outside the crypto scene then check out getgems, they are the first alt to cooperate with coinbase and have been on r/bitcoin front page multiple times. The app has now over 10k+ downloads while in open beta. U can buy Gemz at poloniex and actually a great time to jump in en get involved with the comunity.

GetGems Thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=758004.0

that's because Gemz and Coinbase are both JVs backed by the same people.

Coinbase hasn't developed getgems, its made by different people, coinbase backing getgems is because getgems devs have made julia which is great technology, which again shows that they have great developers, which quarks doesnt have.

Now that Poloniex requires user identification there are many interesting things to be gleened from the data they sell on Ebay.  Data like web browsing preferences crosslinked to trading indicates that a major percentage of buyers of GetGems have a high incidence of diabetes and low self esteem and tend to order large amounts of canned tuna online from Walmart.com.  That's not a group I'd want to be associated with...

Since Quark is not traded on Poloniex there is a 98.7% probability that any buyers of Quark are very sexy and have a higher than normal IQ and always have minty fresh breath even first thing in the morning.  That's the group I'd want to be a part of...

All big bitcoin exchanges require that, traders dont care. You can't talk good about quark on me mate, i have been one of the very early quark supporters and have seen everything and all the screw ups from kolin and max guevera, i ve seen the email from kolin where he admits scamming, really it was a mess, cant believe you are still hanging around a coin which nobody is supporting.

It's true that active community involvement and plenty of forum posts is one way to gauge the value of a coin. Don't think it's the only way though Cheesy

Quark has forked, wonder if there is anyone left here to clean up the mess...

Suprnova seems to be on the longest chain, blockr explorer is on the wrong one.
Not sure about exchanges either.

Github has been updated with a checkpoint on the correct fork.

supernova, coinmine, e-pool seem to be on the correct fork, blockr.io not.

Updated wallets to follow.
