It stinks that the us seems to be the best place for these garbage companies to operate. Authorities don't seem to give a crap. I have to order from China to deal with a company that's staffed by honorable men/women.

Its sad that we have the ability and the mentality to have the respect and customer service but over seas is the only place you can get the support and assistance you need. I had an issue with a stereo and they responded immediately even though it was out of warranty. But try to get that support from HashFast is like asking GOD to answer questions directly.

Can't speak for cedivad, but from my perspective I like it because it gives me an opportunity to get more bitcoin for my fiat than I would usually.

No, the chances are exactly the same. Maybe slighter lower, since that if BTC goes to zero a mining company will go there as well.

What i love is how i won't be able to hear their "800% windfall" bs. They will talk about "200% windfall" and it will be even more evident to everyone how full of shit they are.

Maybe have your attorney subpoena power bills.  I would really like to see if they are mining and not shipping.

From what I've heard and what I've seen they are also selling used boards to VMC, where they got 60 Sierra's worth of boards is a good question.

What makes you think they are used?

What makes you think they are used?

Two things, the heat paste residue on the chips and a gentleman who knows Ken and lives in Colorado told me he was sure they are used.

Just to clarify when I say used I meanI believe  they were once in a BabyJet or Sierra box and removed to be sold as boards. There is no way to tell if they were actually mining unless the heat paste was singed, which I didn't see in the photos posted.

Ordered from Spondoolies-Tech, last to get my combo order in so expected Mid-Late April delivery but yesterday I get this email:

Quote
Dear [Very happy buyer],
After a successful burn-in test, we are happy to announce that your shipment is now on its way to you.
The units were shipped with DHL, tracking number is [Woo-hoo! already on it's way by the time I looked it up].

A lot of work was put into designing, building, and shipping SP10. We believe you will enjoy it very much.

If you have any questions feel free to contact us at info@spondoolies-tech.com.

Regards,

Spondoolies-Tech

Not trying to go off topic but this company really has their stuff together, including a very nice case and miner design which should be expected when spending so much on a product.  Any other server tech company (Dell, IBM, etc) would get slammed for selling a 10k product and use a RPi as a primary controller and a off the shelf case, etc.  When that kind of money is spent people expect to see Enterprise Level equipment not just some crap stuffed into off the shelf parts.  It's only the Bitcoin community that was willing to "trade" complete well designed product in exchange for just a well designed ASIC as long as it was delivered on time and was able to mine.  This is wrong, we should still get the "whole deal" as the manufacturers use the "excuse" to send out duct taped machines by saying they are trying to get to market as fast as possible.

I was B1 & royally screwed by HF, like royally so this is a refreshing thing to see, a mining company that makes a good product, actually keeps to their time lines and ships even sooner than I expected!
Thank you

It's happening because they aren't good enough to do what they say they will do, and they do it because it doesn't cost them anything. they get marks to pay off all the expenses up front, give themselves a nice salary while they try, and then disappear or eventually come up with a machine that took so long to make that it will never ROI.

Another new user trying to convince us of the ignorance of HF (and not of their criminal behaviour).

Welcome kalahamis, thanks for sharing.

Ordered from Spondoolies-Tech,

So far I believe Spondoolies-Tech is one of if not the best miner manufacturer there is...unfortunately the price is still high enough that it will make 50% of what it costs before it's useless.  I was going to buy the one at Inside Bitcoin NYC off the table when I realized, it's a great machine but with the dropping price of Bitcoin nothing available now will ever make more than 50% of what's paid for it.  Sad

Spondoolies-Tech is on the right track but $3.60/GH will only break even or ROI if BTC goes to over $1,000 a coin.
