The point to all this is:

Sure, we all take a risk when we invest in these "stocks", but usually the risk is something along the lines of the business plan not working out and thus we may lose our investment. In this case that isn't even the issue, we are dealing with a risk that is completely abnormal and not necessary - we are dealing with false and misleading information which along with manipulators results in absolute randomness and massive market shake-ups that leave you at any time having no clue whether the price is going to jump or plummet by 100% and then back again. If you are a trader you can usually know, barring some bad news, that the price isn't going to look like the worlds most insane roller-coaster. You know you can through some smartly placed trades make a few percent here and there, there is risk of making a bad purchase but it likely won't cost you your entire investment.

In other words, this isn't "risk" we are talking about, this is just pure BS.

By the way - I'm surprised no one's commented on the last payment. They got 0.2 BTC in the past hour.

The other payments have been consistent with just a few hundred GH/s, possibly powered by the three Avalons we know they have.  But this last payment is consistent with about 1.2Th/s.  Which means either a completely different person is sending them saved up BTC on their BTCGuild account, or they are actually up and hashing.

So yeah, in no way am I trying to defend Labcoin's behavior - if you think that their stock will start to go up once they prove they're hashing now would really be the time to jump in, maybe with a small purchase that you're willing to lose.
Screw that. The only thing consistent with Labcoin is price-crashing. I'll put low bids in and wait patiently.

Hopefully this is going to be picking up soon but it really seems like they are hashing with 1TH+ now

No one's buying though.  Maybe they just think it's another troll payment.

But that is what we thought a couple days ago - or at least we couldn't figure out. Honestly though, I am going to be super pissed if they all of a sudden get 2 TH after I dumped and its too late for me to get my shares back.

The last payment, 0.2 in 1 hour, is equivalent to 14 Avalons or so.  So either this is a different troll posting to the address, or else they're actually hashing with more then just the three Avalons.

So, it's actually looking more likely that they're really hashing.

How is that payment different than any other of the sizable payments from btcguild lately?

It is considerably cheaper than what I paid just 2 days ago. Funny thing is it seems this is ready to skyrocket, even with its shaky history.

Just the timing, if that's for an hours worth of hashing it's 1.2Th/s - so that would mean whoever is sending them payments would have to have a pretty substantial hash rate. Prior to that one it looked like a situation where someone might just be trolling the address with their own payments from BTCGuild, but the more it happens the less likely that is.  There was also the question of whether or not the payments were just from the three Avalons, but the hashrate they'd need to keep that up would be well over the 240Gh/s that you get from three Avalons.

If that's what we're looking at. It's not always totally clear with these guys.

I don't know how btcguild works... Can't you rise payout threshold to be paid with a larger amount?

From what I see, there's more than 5 hours between the last pay and the one before it? Why did you say 1 hour? Have I missed something?

Yes you can. So I may have read that wrong. Oh well. There hasn't been another payment an hour after that, so who knows.

The other weird thing is that the payments are all over the map.  0.1, 0.2, 0.5 sometimes.  If they had a threshold and were paying out at 0.1 you'd see a lot more payments. So it's very weird.

That is just someone dumping payments in there. What is it to drop a BTC.1 or .01 if you've got BTC100 (or less even)?

It's still around 200-300GH. Consistent with the speed when it was in Slush's pool. Seems it was down when it was moved to BTCGuid for several hours, and was brought up  around 10 hours ago.

Whatever it is, it's the only support of current price. I don't think they will or should stop it. Panic sell will hurt a lot people here. Really wish things turns to good slowly. Then even those who don't trust labcoin could leave in peace.
