these cases is the reason for increments of bitcoin value every year. bitcoin demands keep increasing. but in other hand, bitcoin circulation supply may decreased because peoples lost their wallet.

This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

Unbelievable 103 bitcoin I hate this person. I think this guy is careless or don’t believe the bitcoin can reach the moon. Why this person doesn’t secure his bitcoin first. Losing 103 bitcoin too hard to think it will take a long year before you to move on. As holder and trader of the bitcoin, we should learn his mistake. Every one of us has a chance to lose.  The best part of getting lost is to find yourself in a comfortable situation.

damn, the 103 bitcoin is almost $1 Million, wow it just he lost his .dat file for t\your bitcoin wallet, damn i know that feeling, lost the simple part to gove you the big part, i think that bitcoin will don't go anywhere, it will be in that address forever until the owner found the .dat file to open that wallet and save the bitcoin from that address.

Wow, he has actually 103 Bitcoin in his wallet. He must be really disappointed with losing his wallet.dat. I wish he gets it soon as possible back but that is nearly impossible.

Actually who is this guy ? Does he has a name ?

Maybe because he not get too hurrry because he wanted to used it in the future or maybe h want to invest it in something he wants. That's all and wasted everything he had accumulated without even using. If I was with him, he'd buy the sports car that all men would dream.

This is very surprising, i mean how is he going to bear this big lost. please the rest of us has to be careful in how we keep the details of our wallet, at least share it with your wife/husband or your child so that they can help when we are lost, this is too big to loose

That's the most terrible thing I've ever known. Losing that bitcoin by mistake. Some cases also often occur bitcoin loss caused by a hacker. Therefore the level of security is also very need to be improved.

According to some specialists, a big amount of the bitcoins (that have been produced so far) are kinda lost. The owners have bought in the early stages and then forgot their passwords/logins or just the access to their funds.

So there is no surprise about it!  Wink

I think it's not hacker hacking it could be by mistake forgetting private key,Or with a wrong delivery but if by the act of a hacker really heartbreaking if that happened.

That time Bitcoin value was not so high that hacker will start hacking the bitcoiners, so no chance of hacking but ya most of them forget or just lost the keys or wallets due to price not upto it and now when they are seeing the price, they are just remembering the old days when they used to mine the bitcoins and collect it but just let it lose it and now crying on that mistake.

pity this guy, with his hard work he managed to get a lot of bitcoin. but because of his negligence, all the bitcoins he gets, just disappear. this is a lesson for us to secure our digital assets to stay safe.

wow, that is so unfortunate of him, He was amazingly lucky to get to know about BTC at the time he got to knew it, when it's very low. and so unfortunate that had to let go of everything that potentially made him a millionaire.

May be it's karma. everyone has to wait till their time and he does not have that yet. Hope he's hard working again to get back at his loss. The best thing to do in a situation like this is not give up, be more motivated and use your maximum effort until you are THERE.

Well, where's the news? Everybody who had Bitcoins in those days and has either sold them for peanuts or gifted them to someone has virtually lost them, since they've got nothing for them and now they would be able to get millions of $. Moreover, most people would have lost quantities by far bigger than 103 Bitcoins.
The point is that Bitcoins were worth nothing back then. And there was no way to predict they would become so valuable in future.

Being your own bank is responsible, how many bitcoins are lost forever?

If you don't have enough money to invest or trade, you should  participate good bounty's, therefore you can earn some BTC .
