I think these situations are far from alone and people who dabbled or played if you can say so with bitcoin and everyone else did not understand what they lost. But few could expect such a growth, from $ 20 per month, to the price of bitcoin 9000.

Desperation goes all through this topic even though it was started like 4.5 months ago..
So, as far as I can see, there is still no solution to the problem of "lost forever" bitcoins which account for around 6% of the total BTC mined.
I wonder is there any way to interfere with the program code and "reset" all those lost coins to zero or just delete them from the database?

You lose some money from your wallet, because you are not careful because many users are losing their location, where they forgot a password or wallet seeds or just do not know where you backed up the Wallet

If you lost 103 btc never mind that losses it better you invest more so that the 103 btc that you are lossing will be back especially when the price will back in a high value that's the time that you have more returns.

I wonder how many people who lost access or simply threw the computer in the trash, along with files and passwords, as at that time did not betray this value!??

Oh my god! Hey, are you serious?
Something terrible happened that I don't want to imagine. If I did, I would have stopped eating and drinking. I hope you can get it back. Good luck.

This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

I wish all the best for your searching

Ouch! This is sad. I hope he/she will recover his/her account soon. It is also a learning for us to remember every detail of our account and passwords.

Thats quite a big AMOUNT of Bitcoin to lose, especially in this era where the quality of BTC keep rising , Its unfortunate that the user lost their log ins to their wallets, unfortunately, there is nothing much that can be done about it , cant be recovered, all is  lost just like that. thats whyits advisable to always have a back up . store them in paper wallets if possible for safety

That would be the lesson all for us in order to secure our crypto assets we need to have those new crypto wallet like ledger nano and trezor so we can avoid that kind of happenings.

Bitcoin is a crypto currency that, at the initial stage it looks nothing and valueless, which has never talk of, rather not to take serious about it, Currently bitcoin is now an asset as a digital money, and I guest the owner of that wallet has learn the mistake, as the case may be.
