very sorry for this person, since this is a very large amount, but the bottom line is that this will be a great experience for the future, and if he correctly understands this sad lesson, then such situations will no longer be.

This is not very cool, since even such a small amount of bitcoins are lost forever to the whole world. If he does not find this file, then everything is lost. That's why you should always keep everything in a safe place and keep your key in safe.

Perhaps this guy was more fortunate than a guy named James Howells, a guy who earned himself 7,500 Bitcoins in 2009 when they were almost worthless. By 2013, a Bitcoin worth £ 613, or 7500 bc, will give Howells about £ 5 million. Equivalent to more than 110 billion. However, one day Howells threw away a hard drive containing information about the bitcoin 7500 - which is worth a lot of assets.

In 2011, He maybe said "I lost only my toy".
In December 2017, He maybe said "I lost my Lambo".
In August 2018, He maybe say "Oh I lost my half of Lambo"

Very big of such loss, I think it will be difficult and probably will hardly be able to restore what has been lost. but I'm sure you will be able to get more, you should immediately get up and don't regret what happened. Make it a lesson that you must be careful and always be careful in storing or securing the bitcoin that you have properly and correctly.

Why did he lose such big bitcoins? If he was cheated, he did not know how to invest in bitcoin. If he has mistyped the hard disk containing bitcoin information, then he can get back the bitcoin by finding the Private key to get the information of the hard drive.

Way back those years bitcoin isn't regarded much by then so it's okay for him not to recover that as no one expecting that bitcoin will be on this stage. Additionally, it takes after the most noticeable issue before of those diggers that has mined a significant measure of bitcoin, they have to store it no uncertainty anyway shockingly as they look for some security to their bitcoins, they are wiping out their accumulating after help it up and unfortunately, they aren't prepared to influence one to go down for it.

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

Well that was sad. He could be a millionaire or billionaire by now, I've heard some similar things like these before. This is a warning to other investors, always make sure to secure your private keys and btc wallet.

That is actually a very huge loss . Losing so much money could have depressed you or you would have gone mad . But it is always said never lose hope , so just cheer up your self and start again may be you can earn a bigger profit.

Wow, he has actually 103 Bitcoin in his wallet. He must be really disappointed with losing his wallet.dat. I wish he gets it soon as possible back but that is nearly impossible.

Actually who is this guy ? Does he has a name ?

What's the purpose of anonymity if there is a name in a transaction?
Maybe, he lost his key because he never really care about the importance of bitcoin back in the year that it has no value. If that guy is living right now probably his life is miserable.

Lesson learned:
We must keep our private keys.

That was too big,  i can't imagine myself from seeing my wallet but i cannot even take it because i've lost the private keys.  We should keep our private keys to avoid the same situation.
