This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

Sorry for this guy. He ignored the potential of Bitcoin. I think this will be a costly lesson for those who are looking forward to the future of Cryptocurrency.
If we now invest in Crypto for a long time, please cherish it and do not forget about it. Everything will be terrible.

How sad if he had lost it. Somehow if there is anyway you can just keep your keys at your house encrypted in such a way that only you understands it would be better.

Wow, he has actually 103 Bitcoin in his wallet. He must be really disappointed with losing his wallet.dat. I wish he gets it soon as possible back but that is nearly impossible.

Actually who is this guy ? Does he has a name ?

That was so sad.  For sure,  he has worked so hard to get that amount and losing it is surely heartbreaking.  I just hope he could move on on that. i pity him.

probably the guy have known that he has lost access long time ago but immediately he realized that the price of the bitcoin has grown, he became disturbed and furious about his mistake. this is exactly why we should not under-rate anything in life I am sure many people must have lost something which was worthless before but now of significant value. I checked the wallet and i can still see that the coin is still in the wallet. this is painful but the most painful thing is him checking the wallet and still see the coin which he cant access.

I wish this guy recover from this gravious loss. He just have to be manly and pick up again especially when Bitcoin price had now plummed compared back as at then. Maybe this serves a lesson to stay vigilant and always have a back up, it will come in handy in the future. Lips sealed Lips sealed

So how did he lose it? Does he still have the hard drive? If so I would suggest not using it, and scanning it with software that restores deleted files.
it seems like he has done everything he can to gain access to his wallet.
oh yeah i have a question, whether the wallet can be hacked using code or something. maybe if the hacker did it

In fact, people who lost the keys to their crypto currency wallets are very many and I also lost purses with bitcoin. But now nothing can be done and it is necessary to continue to live and release this situation.

Losing 103 bitcoin is very sad because that is huge amount. And in my country that is millions and you can buy anything that you want to buy and that is lifetime money.

Its not a new thing. Now days people are forgetting there password and wallet's id. I my self did the same thing 2 years ago i bought 5 btc and hold them on my wallets,  i really forget about it after 2 years when i watch the price i become shocked and moved to my wallets but i feel to much regret when i came to know that i forgot my wallets passwords.

My friend lost a single BTC due to his short memory, I know it was not the big amount as compare to 103 btc but we should always care about our data.  We have to write id or password someone where just to remind ourself.

If i'm the one who has lost the 103 bitcoin, I will still need to move on. If the account had been hacked maybe i still need to recover it. But if i tried to do all of the things that will able to access the 103 btc back, Well, I just need to move on. I will do something that will ables me to get another profit. Maybe i should try to start in bitcoin world with a low investment but it will helpful if i applied hardwork and patience.

I definitely agree with your advice/suggestion, its hard to revive it so there's only two options, either you stop bitcoin or move on and try again but be more careful and with patience and hard work.

This is really a sad news to hear. Loosing 103 bitcoins is like loosing a huge amount of money. I really wish him good luck in trying to recover the lost funds. This is really disheartening and very painful that one cannot do anything to retrieve the lost funds.

Maybe that time at 2011 bitcoin is not valued that much like today and that guy doesn't expect that bitcoin will grow that much so he doesn't valued or just set aside his wallet until he cannot recover it or remember it. But imagine having 103 bitcoins, you can even have a mansion for your grandson and granddaughters.

I really feel bad for that boy. He lost of his ticket to become a millionaire. It usually happens because of lack of confidence in project. I think never imagined Bitcoin will rise. I will not make that mistake. I keep all my keys and wallet safe with backup.
