So this is your ROI if you got 600GH/s RIGHT NOW. As in, it is right next to you and turned on humming away creating BTC.

http://s21.postimg.org/ahbpwkjd3/2013_08_18_002223.png

It is safe to say that BFL better stop shipping, as should Avalon, BitFury and lots of others. This may turn out worse than the chart shows.

Cherry-pick your stats much?

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/557dff2f2a
I created my own stats. I am pretty sure Genesis isn't making that good a prediction.

But go ahead, if you are sure about it, you and the others sink all your money into 400Gh/s miners.

In January 2014, we can talk about this again and compare graphs. Lets see who really was closer to the real numbers.

======================

Either way my friend, you are already locked in. You can't get a refund even if you wanted to from BFL.

If the others want to spend $$$ and BTC on hedges I have no problems with it. There is always a finite supply of either in this community. If the companies take it all in and they come out to have a non-workable business model, well its your cash, not mine. You won't get to spend it twice. (I hope)

Edit: I would also like to say that even my Avalon running at a significant fraction of 100Gh/s isn't producing very much. Would I be surprised if in January it it barely covering the electricity costs? No?

What if I multiply that pittance by 6x? Would it still be worth it by then? That is exactly the package you have got yourself handcuffed to.

You are welcome. :p

Perhaps that is why you have not seen me mentioning anything about buying miners. I don't know about you, but I am waiting and seeing what develops. If the chart is accurate towards the future...the current 400Gh/s miner will probably experience a hell of a wallop in price.

Keep waiting.

The rest of us will do something while you wait.  Smiley

Perhaps as a community we should all start talking about manipulating the BTC difficulty (if it were possible). Possibly with pool operators assisting in the effort.

I don't really see how it would be possible, other then trying to control the flow of ASICs by delaying orders, like BFL has done.

Change the protocol Xgh per client per IP Address, or something. Level the playing field for all. I have no idea how to do it thou, but everyone should have equal opportunity with a new currency or we may as well stick with fiat.

so how many revisions is this shit gonna take?

and are you really competent to design something like this?

haha, probably not...and i can safely assume your estimated power consumption gonna be off as always.
It's kind of funny that people are worried about the technicalities of a product that may never ship. There is talk of a boycott of BFL new products, I presume due to their ongoing failure to do more than a token effort at clearing their 14mth backlog as promised. It will be interesting to see what effect that has on the new product pre-orders.

I think they are going to get a large volume of pplz migrating 2013+ order over to this 2014 fantasy with the idea that they swap 1 queue and the idea of being in front of the NEW queue ...

At least they know that delivery of 2013+ ordder from BFL is unlikely with a ROI ...so the only choice is to swao to something that has a chance of ROI ...

Once again another EVIL FUCKING move by these mother fuckers !!

THE LONG CON CONTINUES !!

Who is cherrypicking stats?
Your figure would need for the diff increase to be under 25% per jump.
That is not the fact.

Try plugging in 82%  PER MONTH
1+35%+35%=1.8225

That is the current reality.

You were getting fucked in the exit orifice before, now you poured sand in the vaselene.

You are definately a masochist.

Lets see who bites on the new scheme. Sounds tempting but i have better things to do with my money than gamble on a bad bet. Also I got a few miners pounding out LTC drama free for months now. Please don't fall for this guys. Good luck.

It's 3:00 AM Paris time, and I do enjoy reading threads usually.

Of course you read them not logged it. Smart move. I still believe Jeff Ownby is using this account.

One of the mods could easily clarify this (checking the IP from where BFL-Engineer posted this).

@BFL-Engineer, would this be OK for you?

Eventually BTC will be like fiat in that you won't be able to get it for free by mining (except for tiny amounts).

Anyway, the problem with your idea is that you can just A) use multiple pools and B) even get multiple IP addresses if pools were to do that. And of course you could solo mine or setup a private pool with other power players.

We don't need to see his IP identification.  These aren't the cards we're looking for.  You can go about your business.  Move along.
