I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##

A lot of people don't believe into projects that give them possibility to earn these tokens. They consider their tokens will not grow or even decrease their costs. That's why they sell them to invest into something with less risk but with less possible profit

If your 100 percent sure to that project just hold your coin or maybe sell half and hold the half for safety
its another good answer.
sell half and hold half if you think the project have a good roadmap and good product.
why sell half ? because sometimes even good project doesnt mean the price will up fast.and sometimes you need hold at least 3 month or more to see the real price.

I always hold my bounties because I always participate into the projects I have faith and I know that team is going to deliver high tech results with the time passes. So it all depends in what bounties did you participate , facebook , twitter , telegram , signature and then you can sell some of them but always keep a good amount of that alts for long term and one day who knows how much it will worth.

Really depends on the project, if they have releases coming up and so on. Usually I hold my coins tho.
The project also the state of the market I believe makes an impact on whether some hunters will sell or not. You don't get tokens often but if you are in a bear market you may be inclined to sell quicker, and vice versa in a bull market you may be inclined to hodl for better times.

If you believe to the one that you currently holding you will hold it because on the next year it will multuply and also i prefer to hold it a little bit more so you can gain more profits
Before i am holding my bounty rewards but when the value of my bounty rewards was dump really high, i still hold it but still the value of it is not stopping to dump so i learned that the next bounty rewards i we will get is i we will sell immediatley so i can able to have a big amount of money.

everyone's business how to work in the market. You can do it every day, but you can forget about a year and get a big bonus.

There is a bit of play between the FOMO and the FOLI (my own term for "fear of loosing in"). If you feel really bad with FOMO just keep some coins. Anyway, it is unlikely that any of these bounty coins are going to make you rich.

You can sell immediately, but you lose the true potential of a bounty, that is the possibility that the coin will have a big growth and you will make a big profit.
If you sell everything immediately you only earn a few pennies.

It depends on the bounty campaigns. There are some that I think could really increase. In this case, I usually keep the total reward. But others, well I am not really sure that the price will be much higher a day, in this case , I prefer sell and buy other altcoins.

Don't sell all coins at once.
Hunters are the major reason why the price of a coin dump after releases payment.
If you will be like others that are getting money easy even at low there will be a big problem.
I am the one who doesn't sell coins right away and keeps it longer and makes the best price out of it.

Selling now, with the market so low, seems to me to be an absolutely ineffective choice, unless you are starving to death.
Much better to wait for a more favorable moment.

just 90% of the coins fall after entering the stock exchange and what's the point of keeping them ?if you really believe in the project you will be able to buy much more ..But again !!!This should be monitored and transferred at the right time to the stock exchange to sell quickly.Sometimes it is not always possible.

You can sell bounty rewards immediately for instance profit, but you lose the true potential of a bounty. There can be a possibility that the coin will have a big growth and you will make a big profit if you hold. Whereas, if you sell them immediately you can only earn a few amount.

It depends, my biggest return from airdrop was like 400$ for Polymath, I sold them immediately and it was the best option. On the other hand, I participated in HAT and sold for 20$,after a month it worth 600$. No one knows what is better, but if you are in a strong necessity of money, you don't have any reason to hold

Personally I always hold my bounty coins but it really depends on the project and my opinion about it.

I basically keep for a long perspective, because if you sell right away then you can  bit off . And ETH this is a good example, the people's lap received free  100-5000 eth and pounded them at once for 1-2 $. And after 3 years to see the price of $ 1400 for one, there may be nerves nerve-holding; DD

If the project is good then I just HODL it and if I get a small amount of bounty then I usually sell it off because it won't matter even if the prices go up. Usually I do bounties of a few projects which are good enough so usually I HODL most of my bounty tokens.

I think it all depends on ourselves, if we believe in the project and be patient to wait for the roadmap then we have to hold it but if we have a very urgent need and force us to sell coins then we must do it, there is no other choice I mean

For example, I have not yet received such an opportunity that I would sell my tokens for a normal price, but if I could get a normal amount, I would sell it right away! But for a trifle there is no desire, let them lie better in a purse
