I have often regretted the quick sale of coins. But I also have coins that could sell well before, but decided to wait and they fell much. It's very difficult to guess. All coins now depend on the price of bitcoin

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

it depends. We cant say exactly about this. But most of token will be reduced after ICO date because the participants sell too much. So now, the bounty managers usually set a law that they will freeze your tokens in few months to prevent you dump their tokens.

I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##
Yes i also not understand peaople who are selling bounty tokens for cents, i am also HODL all my rewards bounty, just because that price will be anyway growing up amd small capitalization tokens will do it with great X!

For those who consider the campaigns as a job that allows them to get those few pennies to pay the bills, it is clear that the temptation to sell everything immediately is constant.
But in this way you lose the main advantage of the bounties, that is to be able to participate in an ICO without having to pay the coins, and then to make an investment that - with a little 'luck - can become very profitable.

I don't usually sell the rewards. I've already participated in enough bounty campaigns and so far I think I've only sold the tokens of two of them. And I did it because they deceived the participants and didn't comply with the agreement, so I didn't want to support those projects.
I try to participate in campaigns of projects that I think are good or that may huge future, and since the investment hasn't cost me money, I hold the tokens waiting for their value to increase in the future.

It all depends on the project, if it is a good project  I sell half of my tokens, and another half I will hold. I think this is the best way.

I don't sell my rewards. I usually save everything, maybe in the future the projects gain value. All these icos are very new projects, most of them are just ideas, I think you need a good product to increase its value.

I always remember the first rule, don't invest what you can't lose. Well, for me this is the same. It's an investment more.

If you participate to the forum just to make some little money to pay the bills, I understand your bad situation, but it's a pity.
We are here to make big money, because we are an elite of pioneers.
Bounties are just an insignificant plus.

Not all coins or bounty rewards get their price increase.  There are also coins that became useless that is why we call it shit coins.  One example is the SGG token.  There are many participants in this campaign  that get disappointed because the supposed to be market price did not happen.  The token price in the market is nowhere near in the price we were expecting.

It is true that the price increases over time but there are coins that after dumping they remain at that state.  It is hard to invest because you don't know which will be profitable.

in my opinion immediately just sell better because it we do not know for sure whether it will go down or up to anticipate big losses then my suggestion is better to sell directly.

If you strongly believe that is a really good project (good coin/ token), you should hold at least 1 year to multiply your profit
Otherwise, sell it all.
Yes your right but if the coin/token are not good for you you need to sell it, and make it research also to make more idea.
I think we should hold our tokens. They can be put on the floor and they will be greatly appreciated. So let's wait for them to come on the floor and sell.
That is the best way to fully exploit your profit from the project. Or if you find that your project is no longer functioning, it means that they will not have the potential to be on the big floor. Sell them now.
In my own opinion, after I recieved the reward tokens from the bounty, I will immediately sell it because the price will suddenly drops like an instant drop. I got your point that it may grow soon but what if it don't? So for me it is better to sell immediately.

I do understand if other bounty hunters sold their coin immediately maybe for personal financial needs but in my own personal experience if  i think that the coins has a potential to grow i keep holding  until coin price may grow further.

it seems to directly sell it then make us more calm than to hold it and whether until the time we wait will come, if we immediately sell it then altcoi we have will be safe from our minds and hack.

i think it dapands on the projects that you participate, if the project is good, its wise to hold for a long term, it may give you a big surprise after long term holding, but if you dont look forward to this project, you better sell if immediately

It is in a wiser way to sell it immediately when the price is getting high. And if you think that holding also is good for long term investment then keep a part of it and hodl. You have the two possible ways to get more profit in the future. Just observe the condition of the marketcap value when it comes to a decision in a wiser way.

Its really difficult to decide whether to sell the bounty rewards or keep them for a little more time. To keep the coins one should have properly read the whitepaper , future market and website of the respective ico. Other way is if you have a bundle of coins u can sell a good amount from them (say 50%) else u can keep them for longer time depends on your risk taking

Usually, tokens are priced at a dollar when they hit the exchange. After a few weeks or a month, the price gradually increases. It would be good to sell a portion of the reward at this rate. Probably about half of it. Then just hold the remaining just in case the price sky rockets.

I will choose to hodl it because definitely the price of the token after the distribution will decrease because the participants will sell their tokens. I will wait until the price boost up to the moon. I must be patient.
