I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017. Not long, in the scheme of things. But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP. At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.
For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking. So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion. I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens. Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.
So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.
But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive. Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount. And that's when it struck me...
Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.
But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct. So, my question to you is...
Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL? Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

There are times where our bounty rewards does not pay off our hardworks due to low prices. The best thing we can do about this is to study the campaign and see if holding would make sense after a long while. Don't be stupid holding a bounty reward that does not give you an assurance that you're going to earn from it sooner or later so it would be better to be smart and wise about your holding. |

Half sold, the rest is HODL. sell at the right time, for example when the Token is listing to the exchange.
And Better hold, cause almost all bounty hunter who get free token will sell their imediatly and will make the price fall. If that coin or token really worth better hold id until the price go to moon

not all my bounty reward results will immediately sell it. I usually sell tokens that I do not think are good for the future. and will hodl tokens that have good prospects and roadmaps.
I think most people directly sell token bounty reward because according to their bounty reward is their salary and must be directly made in the fiat for their daily needs

In my opinion, looking at the market situation. If the price goes up I sell it, but if the price goes down I will hold it first. I also want to feel the pleasure of bounty of the gift with fantastic price. So I also have to put a strategy.

Holding is valid for any case in crypto related participations. You can support a project to earn tokens, you can start mining, you can start trading, all of them require holding, HODL concept is important here. |

It depends on our choice of how we run our token. These are just two ways when you hold your coins or sell them. And if you sell your coins now at a low price, then the coin prices will increase to 5 times in the near future. You are the one who will regret. All decisions on you may be you have to take risks. But the best thing you should do is to sell half of it for your needs. And the other is holding because it really gives you a good profit when the time comes its value will rise. Or if you do not, you are already using half of it, not completely losing your money. But it's not your personal money, you can join other bounty campaigns and you can get more tokens. This is just my personal opinion.

Selling after the end of ICO is not profitable because it is a time when almost all bounty hunters rush to sell, thus making the price go down. I think it depends on the particular project and the value of the bounty you have received.

Right now the crypo markets are down a lot so my suggestion is to HODL until they go back up then you can sell them for a much higher amount than they are currently worth since the bitcoin bubble just popped and all of the coins values are going down right now. It's a no brainer that it's best to hold them with the currenct market prices, but yeah.

My own experience says that you hold your bounty reward. my Crypto Assets was growing and I got them that the price is less than today. Everyone was holding his coin and wait for it to big profit in the market.

My strategy when i receive my bounty tokens, or my rewards, i sell immediately the 50% of my tokens to gain profit, and then i will hold my 50%. When the price goes down, it's okay for me because i gain profit in the other 50% but when the price gets pump, that is a huge profit for me.  Try to use this strategy. |

It depends on the bounty campaigns. There are some that I think could really increase. In this case, I usually keep the total reward. But others, well I am not really sure that the price will be much higher a day, in this case , I prefer sell and buy other altcoins

For those bounty hunters that always dump their reward of their token on the exchange showing that they do not care for any project but for the stipends they are looking for, I would say if a project is solid, there is no reason to be bothered about this poverty mentality behaviour of these group of people. Good project will eventually Carry the day and become successful in spite of these moon type of people in cryptocurrency!

i would sell immediately because after the bounty tokens have been sent there are alot of bounty hunter will sell immediately their tokens and if you sell it then buy again you have more tokens compare than what you got from the bounty and if the project is really good your profits would skyrocket if you hodl for a year.

it is important to know the value of the token before selling it when the token has not reached the highest value, you better save and wait until the price exceeds the value set or the same as in the offer then sell. so you can estimate the profit received |
