Ok - we all know that the coin is fantastic but, we need a few math majors here - The chart is a great idea but, if 10 days is $1.68, then 1 month (3x10 days) can't be $8.40. 3 times $1.68 is $5.04. But that's just my math.
strange, I thought I had it right 1 day = 0.23 10 days = 2.3 1 month (365 days / 12) = 6.99 1 year = 365 days = 84

See page 1 info - 2% -minimum 10 days. Depending on block sizes may take a little more but 10 day minimum.

ha ok thanks and if i get a power cut or computer crash, so i have to wait 10 days again ? i notice some wallet start staking directly after computer restart but over have to wait again and with a lot of wallet it s very bad when i got a reboot, also most of the blockchain are corrupt have to delete and restart at begin so i could take more days to have all wallet running again (specialy he bitcoin take years to reindex) so what i m doing it to have the same wallets running on 2 computer (but my computers are some slow, 4gig ram) but i don't exactly understand how works the wallet.dat, it says after you encrypt the wallet, you can not use the previous save anymore but when i encrypt a wallet on 1 computer and runing a no crypted on the other, it work just fine, same amount in balance and staking both (i don't remember with what coin it was when i tested) after with an other coin i notice if you add a new receive address ,the one you add the adress , see the new coin from that adress but the other one with don't see the new coins , so if that mean we always need to make a new copy of the wallet after any change because if a wallet crash , and we have an old wallet copy , so we loss all the coins received with new adress what is made after the wallet copy ? i think the wallet system from the bitcion is not very good, it s look like a program from the 90's if computer crash it s corrupt, have to reindex (if possible) or to redownlaod all the blockchaine, it s so slow no automatic wallet save (darkoin does it) ..

Carlo: The record of the coins are in the block chain. Even if you have a crash, you should not lose any days while waiting for a stake. The days accumulate. whether your wallet is open, closed, locked or unlocked. You only stake when unlocked for staking.
If you sent coins to a new address, even in the same wallet, the days start over. As long as you have your wallet (and always have a backup) you will not lose coins. A crash may mean resynching the chain but, no coins or time should be lost.
You should always have your wallet encrypted or someone could hack you and steal your coins. You should have a key scrambler so, if you accidently get a key logger on your system, the hacker will not record your passwords as you type them.
Additional RAM for your computer is probably a good idea.

so if i have the same wallet running on 2 computers but the balance is not the same, then there is a bug or 1 of them it not update (my fcash wallets the balance is not the same but i see only 1-2 connection)
so you sure you don't lost coins? if you restore an old wallet ? (if coins are receive on a new address what does not appear in the old wallet ?)
i m sure there are pos coins what does not shake after reboot cannacoin for exemple after power cut, i think it toke 8 hours before it start shake again , it says you don't have mature coins
i m trying to buy +-15000 hbn at 3700 but there is no sell volume on cryptsy , look like everybody is staking

Caarlo: Never run 2 wallets/same address at the same time. You don't get double coins and risk losing some. You could run 2 wallets on different computers if, they have different receive addresses.
You could run 2 wallets/same address on 2 comuters with only 1 open at a time. Open the same wallet/address on one computer/close it and then, open on the other computer. When the wallet synchs everything should be good.
If you have a problem, since you have had the same wallet/address open on 2 computers, you can try several things. With 1 wallet open: try repair wallet in console (help tab), close, try open with -rescan, close. Then, do same to 2nd wallet. Only reason for 2 wallets with same address is convenience: work/home. But you could use team viewer to see home computer.
If that does not get then the same then, there are a couple other things you can try. Create new wallet and send coins to it. Salvage wallet or delete chain in roaming folder (save copy of wallet) do not delete wallet. Resynch from scratch or using a bootstrap.
If I am making any errors in my advice, others please chime in.

i run same wallet on 2 computer, so if 1 crash the 2nd is still staking
so you sure when your are staking HoboNickels wallet and you close it and restart you don't need to wait the 10 days before staking start again ?

i run same wallet on 2 computer, so if 1 crash the 2nd is still staking
If you are running the SAME wallet on TWO computers at the SAME time that is NOT SMART...don't do that. It is very simple. 1. Day0 Buy some HBN and move it to your wallet. Encrypt wallet. Close wallet. 2. Day10 Open HBN wallet, let sync, unlock for POS. Depending on how big of a chunk of HBN you have is 5seconds to 5days it will stake. Close Wallet. 3. Repeat step2 after another 10 days. Eventually you will get more complicated and manage your block sizes etc but until you have a decent amount just stick to the above.

Carlo - Make sure you have coin control on - (settings - display) Then Send - Inputs - check block sizes. I have 3,000- 4000 coin blocks and stake almost exactly on 10 days

Hello-
I just received the following message for my HBN wallet:
WARNING!! Checkpoint is to old. Wait for the blockchain to download, or notify developers.
Win 7 and wallet is currently sync'd with 15 active connections and I have a green checkmark. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Don't worry, it doesn't effect any functionality. Are you sure you are running the latest version though? If not, give it a try: https://github.com/Tranz5/HoboNickels/releases And remember, always make a backup of your wallet.dat before doing anything just to be on the safe side of things.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Yeah I'm on the current wallet as I just recently started investing in HBN about a week or so ago. The wallet had been running fine open on my staking PC 24/7, then I tried to enable the coin control and the wallet went non-responsive. Left it that way for a couple of hours fearing to force close it, but no luck. So I had to force close it via task manager. Wallet opened with a DB error, but was fine on the second launch, where I was eventually presented with the warning message. Was thinking about re-installing the wallet, but wanted to check here first.
Also, when mining with my A2, the majority of my blocks found/solved turn out to be orphans. Is this normal behavior, or is something out of sync with the pool and the network? I've submitted a ticket to have them take a look, but since I'm still learning about this coin and reading through all the pages, I wanted to see if anyone had any insight on this?
Thanks again!
