Tranz, two weeks ago someone told me to invest in HBN, since I glanced at it thought it was interesting, but didn't do an in depth analysis, well today I finally did that analysis and am terribly sorry that I did not invest in HBN sooner.  The CC's performance, day to day, week after week, and month after month is absolutely stellar, what accounts for that?

There is NO other CC that I see with a performance record like yours, it represents both stability and reliability even while all other CCs are on roller-coasters. please tell me how you are doing it.

Its you guys as much as me.   I think the biggest difference between HBN and other coins, is most who invest in HBN, myself included, are not looking at days or weeks time frame. We are looking at months and years.

I also conduct my self with honesty and integrity.  A bit different then most coins created solely for P&D, or outright scams. In an industry where scams run rampant and unchecked, finding a community that is not participating in that is also a breath of fresh air.

I have a 2 year vision, about where I want to see this go. So far I am about 8 months into it, and about 25% of the way there. So still some work to do.  But this is pretty much it for me, come hell or high water.

Welcome aboard!

I won't stop development, but I believe my role will change, much in the same was as Gavin's is now changing for BTC.  But plans are just that, they can be adjusted.

My thoughts exactly. My strategy for HBN is indeed long-term. Months and years, not days or weeks. It's a niche coin, one that attracts a more mature community with more long-term goals and patience.

I avoid most altcoins, because I dislike the quasi-casino, short-term mentality they engender among traders—fun, yes, but well beyond my already stratospheric risk-tolerance level. Hobonickels is one of the very few altcoins I bother with. Due to the rapid staking, one must perforce consider this coin more critically or bypass its virtues entirely.

Are you the forum post police? If you have noticed the Diff has increased significantly, usually it would be close to a Diff of 5ish and retarget at 3 so do not harp on my post guy, girl, shim.

why are you so rude? just don't flood the thread

Not rude, blunt. Flood the thread? I posted twice with the current higher Diff. and you say I'm flooding this thread.

You see? youre doing this again, keeping being rude and offensive, and flooding the thread.
It is sad, that such persons arise in this friendly community, but I guess there is some percent of them everywhere.
Ill stop this unproductive and unpleasant conversation, good luck mate.

Sad? My last comment rude?  I think you have a problem with people posting information about said topic otherwise you would have not even commented on what I posted in the first place. I could see this as a valid point if I was posting stupid memes and saying HBN to the moon. Smoke a joint go plant a tree and stop trying to police people posts and estimating a persons friendliness because of them being blunt in a response to defend themselves for being accused of flooding a thread with nonsense.

Okay so I tried to combine some of my coins for the first time as I'm starting to have a ton of small chunks of coin. Fortunately I just did a small trial with coin control to start. I selected a few small pieces that added up to about 5 HBN (using coin control) and I sent them to a second wallet I created. The outbound transaction shows in my main wallet and it shows as an inbound transaction in my secondary wallet but there are no confirmations showing up and when I hover over the outbound transaction in my main wallet it says "offline (0 confirmations.)

What the heck does that mean?

Did you payed tx fee? I'm usually send coins within one wallet just to another address, and the client says that they were sent to myself (as it should be) and of course even such transaction must be confirmed by the network.

Sounds like your wallet client was not connected properly to the network when you sent the coins.  So the transaction was never broadcast to the block chain and network. See what the repair wallet button will do.

Kind of weird...  I just tried opening the HBN client to transfer some loot and it crashed with and 'error opening blkindex.dat.  On further inspection there is no blkindex.dat anywhere in the AppData/Roaming/Hobonickels folder.  Wonder what happened to it??  Huh

I don't have blkindex.dat either, but my clients loads and syncs fine. What version of the client are you running and what OS?
