My last 3 staked blocks averaged 198.5893% APY with an average compound APY of 528.7466%. That's nothing to sneeze at, but it's a far cry from the numbers I saw in May of 2014(517.7730%/7410.0333%).
So basically you get about the same now by holding all year as you got by selling off your monthly interest in 2014 and only holding the principle...or at least you would if exchange rates had remained the same rather than declined. The good news is that the constricted supply should continue to lead to higher exchange rates.

TEK is traded only on the two exchanges and one of them is closed (Comkort). We need more exchanges. Now you can vote here https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Home/Voting

It would be nice to get it on Bittrex. They have pretty good overall volume.

Will pos diff back to .0000x or not? That's the million dollar question. TEK seems to be gaining in popularity, as the rise in price and POS difficulty (+0.003 for the last month) tends to confirm this. Actually, I think we are in a secular bull market for all mature coins due to global economic turmoil, rising interest from Asia, and people growing weary of the quantity and quality of new alt coins. Here are the current diffs of other popular POS coins: CAP -0.00734, HBN - 0.008062, NVC - 1.74142375. So if you ask me, I would guess no, the difficulty will not go down as long as price grows. There is a point in time -- and I've not figured out when -- when compounding wins over waiting for low POS diff. I going to guess around 0.003 diff, but it would be neat if someone did the math. Anyway, you should adjust your strategy accordingly. Good luck. Here some other POS coins diff: HYP - 69.963282 TRK - 1.880367 So what do you think guys, I can get my stake now with 0.00x or I need to wait for 0.0000x? Another million dollar question.

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

IF we can somehow confirm this is the cryptsy wallet (compare balances?).. then we can speak our mind to either the top dog or VERY high up exec email is bigvern@cryptsy.com . But first how can we confirm its cryptsy wallet? Maybe make a transaction with tek to cryptsy and see if it shows on that wallet? This needs to stop because its screwing everyone. A gigantic wallet like that is getting over 90% of the stakes!! Vegas

yes, just take your coins out from Cryptsy, that will reset the wallet. They should not be staking and dumping on the buy order. Unless they are buying the coin for themselves like anyone else.

looks like Cryptsy's wallet. A few things to consider: If it is indeed Cryptsy's wallet, that means they are making profit off this coin and less likely to delist it in times of low volume. I'm not defending their actions for sure, but we are vulnerable with only this one exchange. Bittrex seems fickle and would likely delist it in a bear market. It might be better to make a bounty and go for a big Chinese exchange like BTC38. With 2500+ BTC volume/day and lots of new eyes, TEK might do better there. JMHO. One more thing: The higher the difficulty, the less coins are issued, which means every coin is more valuable. So in the end, your overall wealth may be the same regardless. If you consolidate your blocks, you should stake before Cryptsy with its many small blocks. At least that's what I've noticed. Even at .003+, my big blocks stake almost immediately.

Hi! All I Think it is not goodfor High POS coin to go lower and lower on staking And it adds another X in the formula instead well known 40% The best thing here was that you could look at TEK coins as hashing power and could predict the income, but if you have X hashing power and unknown result of waiting (holding\staking) the coin ..

Very good point. Things can be adjusted. Reaching a consensus on what is best is unlikely. However we may have a large majority of people in agreement on the direction they would like to see Tekcoin proceed. Perhaps it is time for all of us to collaborate, come up with a list of possibilities get some user feedback.

I surely want to collaborate in making Tekcoin a more stable and strong coin Wouldn't it be a good idea to state clearly on the OP (for example) what is the best/recommended behaviour a TEK investor should adopt? I'm thinking about blocksize, keeping the wallet locked/unlocked, and so on... That would surely help building a better and stronger network/community for TEK. PS: I'm pretty new in the cryptoworld, so if I ever say stupid things, just don't be mad at me

I think that (If poosible) setting hard 30% for 30 Days? 60% for 60Days and 90% for 90 Days (if you hold for that long) - this way we still have capital control as people have good reaseon to hold TEKcoins longer for stake.. And people play by the known rules and plan their bunget - which is much more important then cutting the supply in High POS coin. Yes! the inflation will go lower the way it is now, but it makes it less attractive from the unic and main functionality of the TEKCoin..
