https://www.bitebi9.com/markets/view/TEK_CNY

bitebi9 is a start up company within the Bao Luo Technology Company Ltd., Dalian, China. It is interesting because the only fiat featured there is Chinese CNY. Apparently you can buy BTC cheaper there. Lots of other coins are listed besides BTC and Tek.

The exchange looks like a Cryptsy subsidiary. mmmmmmm ... I wonder. Well worth encouraging in my book.
#$%^ that. Bitebi9 is either affiliated with Cryptsy or is ripping them off - both valid reasons to stay the hell away.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Possibly. Despite my run-ins with Cryptsy, I still trust them. They've been around a long time, and in that time they have pushed the boundaries. I can understand why others that might not share my opinion, but that's all it is. My opinion.

bitebi9 looks like it could very well be a Cryptsy subsidiary. It would make sense for them to relocate and reform outside the USA. Cryptsy could then avoid the heavy regulation it is currently experiencing. Regarding the other US-based exchanges, I think that there will also be a move to relocate and reform away from the United States, because of the increasing pressures from the banking system to regulate cryptocoins. Polionex, for instance, cannot now process trades from residents of the State of New York. The banks, and other powers that be, will want to introduce centralised digital currency transactions for all soon, and phase fiat out. Decentralised cryptocurrencies are an obstacle in their way.

Ive never really had issue with Cryptsy other then this Tek wallet thing.  I suspect they have a stuck sync and just have not the manpower to fix the issue quickly, and suspect that Tekcoin is low on their priority list.

Cryptopia has been working well for me...

Yeah, been warning about cryptsy for a while. Caveat empor.

Also, I like the proof of burn or something similar, and I would like to add that the super stake % could be time limited duration, so we can always keep burning. Like say, burn so and so amount of tek and address/wallet gets increased stake % for say, 3 or 6 months or something.

So we can mint and burn forever in a cycle.

I think that if you burn 500000 and get the SuperStake address for only 3 months, then you have to stake a few millions on that address just to cover your 500000,
So if you have a few millions of Tek why would you buy more? not very interested Smiley
But if you own 170000 you would want to buy or mine another 30000 to get the SuperStake address faster, when the TEK is cheap, and provide support for all the market
then burn 100000 and get your self SuperStake address and 100000tek to put there to stake if forever at 41% - and you are set for your trip to the moon (thats just an example, that could "make me happy" scenario)
peace

Also if there is 500 addresses in the reach-list and imagine that everybody from this list will try to get their own SuperStake address, and will burn (for example) the same 500 000 (for 45%), then it will be 250 000 000 tekcoins,
but we only have about 70 million tek now, so forever address is more attractive, and will do the job.

Every "coin" (crypto)  and its community can be treated like fund, but many funds died, because of the centralized nature of its management and human greed
Tekcoin is one of the best coins, becouse of its history
It was born from Cryptsy chatbox and chosen devs took part in coding, everyone witnessed how it happened
Biomech can tell more of this story!
That makes it outstanding from other coins as clear of scams and froud ..by the fact that how its started
I remember it was forked from trukcoin or something like that.. very long time ago

Now, it seems to be my turn to have synching issues. I'm stuck about five days back. The usual voodoo hasn't worked, and I'd like to NOT bootstrap if I can avoid it. Any ideas prior to a full bootstrap?

Hi! Did you solve the sync problem?
How bad is it?

Hmm we'd have to adjust the math but that seems pretty good. Eventually the inflation problem just gets kicked down the road, so that is why i suggested a time limit on the % superstake boost, but of course I just picked a random number, it would obviously be much fairer.

Cryptopia is great. Everyone should use it. They have no sync/deposit/withdraw problems so far for me.

Can agree about Cryptopia. I see they have Featured Currency - some coin related to Kim Dotcom, and the site is also .NZ
