Now I've finally figured out what the stages mean: Max Hard Cap is a stretch goal with staged goals of 5, 10, 20 and 35 million
Now I'm just wondering why in the counter the amounts are given in ETH
They weren’t really hiding it hehe but could show it better, I think they show it in ethereum because it’s the value that really matters as they need the ethereum to make the project work they need the raised value to turn it into a working and prospering company So the next milestone stage 1 is the 2000ETH and that would unlock to the second stage? How is the eth price treated? is it fixed during the sale? they stages probably have no impact on the price, these are goals that they want to achieve price is fixed at 1 ETH = 6000 HNY, Discount linearly drops to 0% on June 30. July 1st is the last day of the ICO Since it is fixed to that value it would make sense. It seems eth in the right realm right now so If this is pulled out it would be great success. I think the only drawback if ETH falls back to lower than that value in HNY. We are all waiting for the SEC decision. At least we will be able to these ideas implemented. Ethereum value has been on a stable condition for a while now and we may get to see some bullish period coming soon, about the SEC decision, it turns that is just a fake news been propagated to cause FUD courtesy of whales as there is no relevant information from SEC or on their website We see this alot, people trying to spread some rumours or dodgy news so they can buy the cheap coins in this bullish trend. Common tactic I agree new investors are easy targets as they panic from news that most of the times is not true and they sell their coins for cheap then the whales buy it. If price is fixed at 1 ETH = 6000 HNY then yesterday was good time to buy HNY tokens because ETH was around 700 USD. Now it's near to 800. The HNY tokens are becoming more expensive. If you are interested in an investment, you should buy it quickly before ETH continues to rise |

Yeah I saw a little video on the bitfence twitter page of the beagleboard hardware running the bitfence stingminer software, it's amazing that something so small does the job. Hey friend, can you please kindly post a link to the Tweet here for us all? Would be cool to see this so as to have a visual knowledge of the project's concept. Wow, MAIN SALE, stage 1 is smoothly moving and they are updating total raised funds count time to time. 597 ETH yet, is good growth. In-short in stage-1 they received 97+ ETH from investors.
Okay. As I understood, 500 ETH raised during pre-sale and now after that all amount is raised in main sale? How much ETH will be raised in first stage ? Stage 1 still is running and now they have 115 ETH in stage 1. In progress blue box line means stage 1 sale. |

Yesterday evening when I visited website I found 597+ ETH raised yet. What I seen today, 615+ ETH raised yet  . I am sure they will achieve their MAIN SALE also in minimum time. |

Basically for those that are new to cyber security - the StingMiner which is the honeypot or tool that attacts hackers can run on virtually any platform. To start off with it will be on low powered systems like the raspberry pi or beagleboard. It can also run on normal machines (OS) but the idea is to have mass adoption. The power of this is the more StingMiners we have the better the threat detection capabilities. Once a threat is identified and validated using the AI engine in the backend this will be distributed to consumers and enterprises.
Consumers - the threat information will be available because BitFence plans to launch a personal firewall which will be integrated into the distributed network.
Enterprises - they already use existing security solutions like Cisco / F5 etc and Bitfence will integrate into this.
The ICO is a strong business case covering cybersecurity which is a $202B industry and the cost of cybercrime topping $3T so you can do the maths.
The value of the HNY tokens will rise as more threat intelligence feeds become valuable - which means mass adoption. Also note due to the technical superiority of StingMiners we can target focused industries. For example: Autonomous Cars connected to the Internet - our StingMiner can emulate an infotainment system of a car using CAN bus. Hackers would think this is a car and try to run some attacks specifically targeting these protocols - which would identify them and fingerprint them. The same can be applied to any industry as they move to Internet of Things.....

Thanks for the good explanations. I am having a hard time understanding the technical area, but now I know better. The example with the car explained it well When I look at what a big market IoT is, then I see a great future for Bitfence |

Getting responses from personalities like that is a good move, hopefully we will continue to see traction grow their marketing efforts and sponsorships are doing a great job in getting their name out in the crypto world, hopefully that will keep up as the project progresses, means when its on exchanges fully we'll be seeing solid liquidity and volume hopefully from people knowing the token |
