probably you dont have to close it, just start with a sell (if you dont lose too much with the first sell) What do you mean exactly? I'm down 25% of my original balance before C.A.T :/ Oh yes, it's C.A.T. fault. General cryptocurrency crash is not influencing your balance. I lost 2 BTC from my balance in 24hours without do nothing. I Call it a "inexplicable miracle" I am down by 0.2. But I made about 0.5 with CAT before so even after second crash I am profitable anyway. As I said before, 0.01 per market is quite enough for both profit and safety. And I assume that 0.1 was caused by cryptsy issues - some alts I had more than triple the original buy amount thanks to repeated execution of a single order.

Yes i know about this error. It's because actually with this command you can only delete orders on CAT and not all orders. I Will add e new command "Delete All Orders (Also on Cryptsy)" to let the users decide what to do.

Does anyone have experience with larger balances? I see most users get around 0.1btc gain each day with I reckon a balance of 1-3btc. I am wondering if having a balance of 10btc and thus increasing orders 3-10 fold will lead to the same increase in gain?

Hopefully soon we will start to recover

yes that needs to be another option.
regarding roi, it took me ~ one month to roi on CAT, with a period of market rising in all altcoins. otherwise it's pretty much limiting the loss, but you need to setup the parameter that stops the algorithm when thing goes down, otherwise you can lose more than just the market is.
What amount of btc were you using?

cryptsy still very bad, losing orders, executing them several minutes later and going to negative balances often. No improvement with new database server, like if they did not migrate at all. Paused using CAT since last weekend, cannot run it in these conditions so far :-(

I think that we should put more pressure over the improvement of cryptsy and it's trading engine to the owner (bigvern)
Is almost pointless that he gets it 3% better each time or similar results. he should just upgrade to something wich is near to the best , and not be afraid on spending some coins to get that.
It will be much better even from him in the long run .

But actually Cryptsy isn't faster than before? What kind of problems do you get?

as I wrote before, lag in minutes, repeatedly executed orders leading to negative balance, hoarding altcoins due to lost orders. I decided to try DOGE for 0.2 to get back to 0.5. I am at 0.7 but this is thanks to negative balance in BTC before half of DOGE sold back after 100% increase. Cryptsy allows us using a leverage :-)

Yeah I also have problems with negative balances and lag. Also a lot of http errors and lost connections with c.a.t. I really don't understand what is taking them so long. There are a lot of bad experiences about cryptsy all over the forums.

You could all make your lives easier and just buy .1 BTC of every altcoin, withdraw, save to USB, live your life for two years, then check prices.
