With the current bear market, it may not be the worst decision to Trade some coins for fiat.
While I am normally a firm believer in HODLing, I'm starting to think that BTC may reach a $5,000 price again, therefore I'm selling bits a day.

People who are entering into trading to make money but with the current situation people should hold the coin instead of selling them for low price. Market is volatile situation which we cannot predict where the bitcoin and altcoin prices are going to be. So the only choice we have is to hold the coins.
I think first entry should be only with investment and holding for some time and study the market regularly and try to get as much knowledge as you can about bitcoin trading. When you realize that now you can trade by yourself then start trading. It is good for making more and more money. Many people trade in crypto because of the limited time they have for investment. |

Patience is not good as always, there are times that we are missing the chances to sell our altcoins because of the word "Patience". We have to be flexible about holding our altcoins, thinking fast yet accurate and making concrete decisions in life, that is how you could make profits in Trading so the effort or patience that you have put on your Altcoins will not go to waste. Trading might be complicated at some point especially if you are just a newbie on the Trading world, but time will come that you will get used to it, there is no need to rush things up. |

If you want to hold your coins, i think that is not the right choice, because i'm worried to hold altcoin except ethereum. Maybe you should to trade your coin, eventhough you get little profit, that will be better than get nothing because waiting.

Hi guys, I have a couple of alts in my wallet right now and I want to gain profit.
I want to earn a profit while waiting for a better market value. Should I enter trading(where I don't have an idea on how to and where to start) or should I stick on HODLing my coins?
Looking at the market movement, is it a good time to start trading?
Is it risky or not an ideal move if I start to study trading using some of my holdings/alts?
I am eager to learn how to do trading(short-term or day-trading).
Any thoughts? TIA
If you want to gain more profit they i suggest hold for a wile and trade after the market high.you should have known when the right time to trade or sell your altcoins. |

The main difference is that with trading you can make money even in bear market while if you just hold you have to wait for bull market to come to make some serious gains.

I prefer trading over holding. In trading you can sell your token as long as you gain some profit. And in holding you need to have a lot of patience. And there are some risk in long term holding. Like big drop in price. Just like what is happening in the market now.

if you are not inspiring on trade or afraid for the loss you can hold your asset and buy when its price low.2018 bitcoin price down and all crypto market down and people sell their asset for panic and many people face problem for cash money than they need to money sell emergency so First try to know and research about trading and then try to start trading so you can start trading otherwise you can store your coin and sell coin with high profit.

The prices of cryptocurrency today in the market is currently decreasing and the only way for you to avoid losing a huge amount of your investment is to hold your coins so keep on waiting for the right price to come up before selling it. |

My strategy is thus: I have a certain amount of money on an exchange that I use for trading back and forth between ETH, LTC, BTC and BCH and $USD. I like the control of trading back and forth between dollars to BTC or ETH because I know, no matter the direction the market takes, I can hold profit or minimize loss. Occasionally I take profits from this exchange and buy alts, on days like today when they are low. With these alts I trade less often and only for BTC as I'm only trying to gain satoshi.

Experience will teach you a lot of great things. However, avoid learning about trading in an expensive way. You should just avoid becoming too emotional in trading, avoid getting FOMOed and avoid panic selling because this only leads to losses. As to the time when to trade, you must trust your own judgement and speculation, because people will just advise you to buy or sell this or that depending on what they are holding and think that would help them improve the market of what coin they are supporting, again their opinion is based on their judgment, you must make your own decision.
yes experience will always be your foundation in trading and actually it does not matter on what strategy you prefer to do because both are profitable but i prefer on trading because you can earn more coins each day depending on the situation in the market. |

First you need to understand what kind of coins you have and in what position they are now. Based on this, it will be possible to give a more specific recommendation. The market is not in the best position now. If you were buying for fiat, now is a good time to buy altcoyins or bitcoin, but you have a different situation. The beauty about crypto is there are so many different ways to make money, ranking up your bct account and participating in bounties, joining airdrops, masternodes, mining, HODLing, and trading. What I do is make money in all avenues I diversify my income |
