By entering in the trade. you can earn a profit and can also roll back. but when it andam asih not understand with trading then it is better to hold and determine the selling price so that later can be sold your assets
For me trading is far better than holding but it needs experience. Everyone cannot trade while everyone can buy and hold crypto. There is no experience and skills needed in holding. Trading is more effective and the best way to earn more and more money in less time. Whole holding will take long time to give you some profits. Better to learn trading.

Some of the coins are good to go trading with them, but also there are some coins which are good only for holding and the long-term holding, so just consider about every each kind that you have

Hi guys, I have a couple of alts in my wallet right now and I want to gain profit.

I want to earn a profit while waiting for a better market value. Should I enter trading(where I don't have an idea on how to and where to start) or should I stick on HODLing my coins?

Looking at the market movement, is it a good time to start trading?

Is it risky or not an ideal move if I start to study trading using some of my holdings/alts?

I am eager to learn how to do trading(short-term or day-trading).

Any thoughts? TIA

Trading or holding is both profitable but what matters is the coin you are using if it has really the potential to grow even more in the future so you should always check the stable price before investing a huge amount.

Trade : you will have coin more
This time is not good for trade. the market is fallen and the up and down is not looking good. It's risky to do the trade now so instead of doing trade its good time to HOLD . I just stopped all of my trade for this bullish time.
A wise decision indeed. Actually you don’t to be so panic at times when things are moving little bit out of plan. Things are getting fine now and every time they just get fine after a delay. Be patient with what you have invested and only that would be saving you from loss. Holding is best strategy at such disturbance times. Because you can’t just make any move or you get loss.

at this time I have not dared to trade, because the market price of the trade fell quickly, if I choose to hold first, if the market price starts to improve I will choose to trade.

when relying on trading is still not very promising and just makes you more panicked so that losses are hard to avoid. Because when the exchange rate of coins in such bad conditions you can now use the process of storage of coins in a relatively long period of time

Now you should decide to hold your penny the best, I think the market will recover soon, do not worry too much that selling your penny now, would be a very bad thing and you would regret in the future.

In my own opinion if you're a beginner in trading you must choose hold because you don't have knowledge to trade bitcoin. If you're a expert in trading you must choose to trade everyday so you can earn profit everyday but be careful in trading trading is so risky.

Keep most part of your portfolio for HODL, while small part may be kept for trading. HODL is a proven strategy to get long-term gains while in trading there is 50/50 chance of profit/loss.

I prefer to hold because bitcoin and ETH prices are now declining due to many direct sales every day. if trade now then it will cause loss I guess. but I do not know how long the bitcoin price drops, so I can only wait until the bitcoin price rises

Daily trade is only for people who have time and are really disciplined. It will make you very tired if your mentality is not good. The combination of trade and hold (short-tiem) is the most effective - for me. You should learn how to use technical analysis, cycle of market, find buy and sell points on a 1-day graph (long-time or middle). You can hold and trade when necessary to maximize your profits.

Atleast from what I think trading is much better than holding.
You can learn much more things when you trade. Your proper timing when entering the market or exiting will be trained. When you only saw the market trend then you will go and start holding.

Instead of holding and just waiting for something to happen you should trade more to better understand the market.

If you don't have any idea about trading much better to research first and what your holdings now is depends to the market if that coin is listed on any exchange and have a value you trade it but choose to sell if that coin have a great value at this time but if not hold it for now so you can't lose profit.

Look if you do 1% of the capital a day, in a year you will have x37.8 of the capital if you buy a coin and you will wait, more, than h10 in a year I didn't meet therefore the choice remains for you)
In general, you can divide strategy and a half of the capital to trade, and other half of HODL

Without experience will teach you many great things. However, avoid learning about trading in expensive ways. You just have to avoid being overly emotional in trading, avoiding Fomoed and avoiding panic sales because this only leads to losses. Personally, I will not trade right now if the market is unstable. Although, you can quickly make short trades but you have to be very vigilant because there is a tendency that you can lose your money if you do not monitor market activity well.

Trading at this time wouldn't be useful if we'll sell our altcoins during this dip because I think that we might just have losses if we won't wait. Hodling is the best thing to do during this time because selling would take us into risks of losing rather than gaining a good profit.

Trading is so interesting and exiting, as for holding - it is fully automated process, if can say that, so choose your, maybe trade some, hold others.

Yes, not all people want to go on trading or by holding their token, but for me if i choose trade or hold, i want to choose Hodl for now, because as of now i want to learn how to trade that's why i read some books and watch video on youtube how to read candlestick to know the Technical Analysis work.

the price usually drop and drop. we only get profit by daily trading although small profit
