One final thing I will say about the (lack of proper) statistical analysis is that for my own involvement in Nxt I would rather be paid in BTC (if I am to be paid anything at all).

I have read proper statistical papers (such as created by Meni) with sound math describing all of the possible attacks upon Bitcoin and I am much more satisfied with that then the "just trust BCNext's algorithm argument" who himself btw actually stated "don't trust me".

It seems that things like "proper analysis" are not things that this community wants to do or even hear about.

I bet most of us believe that BCNext did math analysis and found no flaws.

Three months in and we have no Whitepaper, no documentation of algorithms, and no modelling or statistical analysis.

The greatest irony of the great decentralized Nxt Ecosystem is that its core is centralized in an opaque, anonymous identity who only communicates to the world through a Belarusan Java programmer on contract.

One day soon, Nxt will be called out for this. It is Nxt's biggest flaw.

what kind of font best matches the nxt logo for things like the the text on my silver bar that will say "10 troy ounces of 999 fine silver"?

*edit* rounded letters because the nxt logo is made out of circles but it need to look professional at the same time

Agreed (minus the vulgar language), we can market AE when it's finished with testing and we are happy with it.

Btw, who is really testing it? I got only a few bug reports.

I don't really need AE working (I'm not a trader and don't need to IPO anything), so I can wait till April. The community should focus on testing if it does need AE.

How are the incentives set up exactly?

- there is small FAQ at peerexplorer.com under the "I am a sponsor":

Register a account.
Create a new cache. (click small seet near "Created caches")
You can fill in a sponsor message if you like (url, advertise etc...).
Now transfer to the NXT account the amount you like  (min. 2 NXT).
Cache should be automatic activated in 5-30 mins.
Now you can enjoy how someone is earning your reward.

Later your "caches" would gradually become "Rewarded".

Has anyone seen this yet? If any of you are like me, the rest of bitcointalk pretty much gets ignored simply because this thread is a time drain.

I don't like seeing much about other cryptos here unless it's relevant to Nxt. XCP has been mentioned here more than a few times. It appears they had a major attack involving 150 BTC:

As many of you know, about a week ago, a hacker found a major security hole in the Counterparty protocol that enabled him to send XCP from anyone's address. He used this to send 35,000 XCP from the Poloniex wallet to himself, which he then deposited into his own Poloniex account. He then sold the XCP for 150 BTC and withdrew 115 BTC. Following that, he explained the security hole and offered to return the BTC. He has still not returned the BTC, but my correspondence with him is ongoing.

Users have asked to see the correspondence and the Counterparty developers have all given the OK on publishing it, so here it is: https://poloniex.com/correspondence.pdf

There was more to his message from today, which I have not included because it arrived after the developers gave the OK.
