I'm busy with other stuff at the moment (relevant to NXT). Interesting idea though :-)

Allow me to introduce myself, I am an early investor in NXT, and have been floating around various community forums since november under different names. I know C++, Java, PHP, Javascript, Html, CSS, SQL, Python, and HDL (Hardware Description Language). I haven't been around for the past two months because of health reasons, but now I want to contribute in any way I can. I think if we integrate application level URI schemes (i.e. nxt://, as someone suggested earlier) http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/aa767914(v=vs.85).aspx, with a distributed storage parallel block chain to host websites -- the value of nxt would go to 2 BN in about a week. In fact a simple executable with root privileges could reprogram browsers without any user effort. Thoughts? If enough people are interested I can fund this project out of my own pocket.

I keep hearing people saying that this coin has a decentralized exchange. Why are people trying to get it on the major exchanges then? Also, aren't most of the coins in the hands of the initial investors? So one would have to purchase this at a really inflated rate to get their hands on some coin?
The NXT Asset Exchange (AE) is being tested. It will offer users the ability to trade virtually any asset conceivable by means of tokens that can be generated on the (AE). The universal currency for the NXT Ecosystem (which includes the AE and other features) can be purchased or traded for on private exchanges like Bter and Cryptsy. This NXT currency is what the initial Stakeholders of NXT got in return for their investment at the beginning of NXT. While there are Stakeholders who are still largely vested, the price of NXT is still dictated by the market and laws of supply and demand.

With this background you can't do it yourself? Or do you still have health issues or no time? You would be a huge contribution to the community and I think all of this would be in your best interest.

Current sites about NXT are terrible. I personally don't like current Nxt sites.
I like my site sorry but it looks like from the last century I want you people to pay me to build a site I like. Fixed those for you.

It sounds great.I hate knowing nothing about programming when i read these things . Would it be linked with the alias system working as URL, or would it be totally independent??

Allow me to introduce myself, I am an early investor in NXT... ... In fact a simple executable with root privileges could reprogram browsers without any user effort. Hi and welcome (back) to Nxt! You should poke Jean-Luc and jl777 to see what they may like help with. Jean-Luc is working on Nxt code, and jl777 (James) has a bunch of really cool projects he's working on and would love input. Your thoughts on the nxt:// URI scheme is awesome, but I balk at the creation of any application that uses root privileges to reprogram web browsers. That's a very suspicious-looking activity, even if it is well-intentioned, and most anti-malware packages will block it. There are browser plugins that can be used to decode Nxt aliases, right now, as well as a URL forwarder at http://www.mynxt.info/fwd/. I think the browser-plugin route is the easiest one right now; it's the same thing Namecoin is doing. IMHO what we need first is some consensus on what format to use in alias strings (I think URI makes the most sense, and doubt many would disagree).

In the end, i could not get the "hit" with php, the hash is different, it is impossible. There could be an API to get the hit? Hit can be calculated: getState - to get last block id getBlock - to get last block generation signature First 8 bytes in little-endian of SHA256(generationSignature, publicKey) get the hit. SHA256 php != SHA256 java http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14475027/unable-to-reproduce-java-messagedigest-hash-in-phpI tried a thousand ways, does not work.
