Hey CfB, hows buying nxt doing?  You can have your anonymity but i really want to know how much its costing you to buy back up after your done!  Grin

I don't really care about Nxt price. If 100 BTC is not enough to buy at least 1M then I'll spend some (useless) dollars.

In the end I see no difference between 1M NXT equal to 100M USD or 1.3M NXT equal to 130M USD. I'm not sure that I could spend even 10M USD.

I'm not sure that it's good to see Nxt mentioned together with RealSolid or any his project...
+1000

I also strongly recommend that people stay away from RealSolid's mcxnow exchange. Having Nxt on it will only give us bad reputation by association.

mcxNOW is the best exchange out there.

He shutdown the site for 2 month because he had problem with the support load, but everyone had the possibility to withdraw all their money if they wanted.
Now the site is back and kickin more than ever

Then please explain to me why everybody is to reluctant about joining it?

I've heard of mcxnow here for the first time. What's the issue with this exchange?

@JL
Code:
[2014-02-15 08:53:45.732] DEBUG: Generate block failed: Previous block id doesn't match

What exactly does that mean?

What does the previous block id not match with?

Am I on a branch?
This is normal to happen. While generateBlock was running, the last block has changed - either a new one arrived, or it was popped off. So your newly generated block is no longer valid, please try again.

Ah, of course. Now it makes sense.

Maybe changing the log output could help?

DEBUG: Generate block failed: Previous block id doesn't match anymore. Either the previous block was popped off or a new one arrived on top of it in the meantime.

Why is that?

His reputation is very far from being described as "solid".

My client keeps generating blocks with a timestamp +1 hours in the future.. then my new block gets "popped off" upon the next valid block from the network.

Any ideas?  Timezone setting issue? Daylight savings perhaps?

Still 806.92 blocks per day. Something wrong with the algo? Shouldn't we 1440?

I ask BitcoinWisdom to add NXT to bitcoinwisdom. Let's wait until he responds.

EDIT: I hope I got you right. Did you mean a nxtwisdom for the asset exchange?

From a price and adoption point of view, thats a good point. Ive always considered Clark Moody a strong influence on driving early broad interest. Wisdom took it to the next level IMO.

To whom care about Bter exchange:

Firstly, I don't think most of you know Bter point (BTR), which is issued by Bter itself, so please have a look at this link http://cn.bter.com/trade/btr_cny . The present price for Bter point is about 2 CENTS in RMB.

Secondly, let's do a simple case study. Say you want to withdraw 10K Nxt, the fee for withdraw is 0.5% + 1 Nxt, that is 51Nxt. At the same time, this withdraw will cost you Bter point of your account. If you don't have BTR, you can buy BTR from the above link, and you can also get BTR from RMB trading in the site. If you don't have RMB, you can sell you coins to get RMB and then buy BTR. How many BTR will cost your withdraw? It's the quantity 10*the coin's value in RMB, say 10K Nxt's value is 4000 RMB, then the withdraw will cost you 40000 BTR, that is about 80 RMB or about 200 Nxt. So total fee is about 250 Nxt, that is ~ 2.5%.

Do remember and check you have BTR. That's my friends told me. So please check it when you didn't get your withdraw.

Edit: The above information was explained by my frineds who are the users of Bter.com .

UTC for your timezone... daylight savings unchecked... sync time... don't change time manually.

After you've synced the UTC time (and verified it is right) you should *then* select a time zone and if required set the daylight savings adjustment on (but don't ever change the time manually).

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

I meant NXT/BTC.

And your idea is nice, too. Doubt they do it though... too early.

Lophie is here and selling once again ^_^. I have one million nxt for sell at 0.00009BTC, I would rather finish this ASAP as usual.

- Lophie

why don't you sell it on bter like you always do, it would help to kill Nxt faster. why you leaving me selling alone now, what did I do?

Bter made me chase my tail for two weeks after they stole my 100k, also they took tens of thousands of nxt in fees, no thank you, I would rather sell them here and wait for the distributed exchange, I also decided efforts to make yet another centeralised exchange is just nonsense, I would rather focus my efforts helping  nxt whenever I can.

- Lophie

I want to buy for 1.2 btc, thats all, but at least something.

Regards
