...as I cut and paste it...

Did you use Windows Notepad to cut & paste? It has a reputation for fcking things up. It sometimes creates spaces, that a user might input with his control+v

use Notepad++ and try it again, if your pass is typed incorrectly, you'll see it

I lost 50 Nxt to your site. Can't withdraw due to "master password" being incorrect (Could not decrypt your wallet.)

No, it's not incorrect as I cut and paste it twice during registration from the same file

I was able to successfully receive and send NXT using his online wallet.

Are there special characters in your password?  Have you tried typing it in by hand?

No, I used lastpass "note" section to cut and paste., lets try

MaTQGiytwak#DKBjK0Vvdo2k

yeah, that was master password

no, not a problem on my end. It was probably a bug on their side

Yours is 24 characters long.  Too many characters.

Edit: once everything is sorted out, abandon that wallet address now that you've revealed one of your passwords.

Sorry folks, we're having a few issues with the NXT wallet. Until we can resolve them, we're going to add TeslaCoin (TES) which came second.

Just got this back from them;

wow MaTQGiytwak#DKBjK0 worked

I will consider this a bug. If there is limit of 18 char, don't let the user just enter longer password.

It seems it could be indeed the password length. You can't enter a 24 long password in the registration screen though, it stops you at 18. But if you are copy & pasting you may not realize that.

Then they should not have put NXT in the vote.

And they should return the BTCs.

The solution to that problem is to just remove 18 char limit. There is no need for this. You can hash anything (longer than 18) anyway.

Would it be possible to change the registration screen in such a way that it will not stop at 18, but instead stops registration with a prominent error if the password length is too long?

Must the registration stop at 18 at all? What is the purpose? I have some that are longer than 26 chars.

No clue, it's his code.  Just offering a solution that works within his rules.

It's because I want people to use this from mobile phones and so I wanted to force smaller passwords.

I think one way to solve this problem is to limit to 18 chars in the registration screen but have no limit in the password confirmation input, so if you paste a password that is too long, in the first input it will get cut, but in the confirmation input it won't and so the system will warn you that they don't match.

can't you just limit it everywhere and just cut it after 18 chars?

CoinPayments.net is in the testing phase with Nxt. Smiley  That'll be a big win to help small merchant adoption as well as access to an auction/market site.
