Hello, i'm an average Joe!

I understand nearly nothing in this thread cause i have no experience with programming and cryptos, exchange and so on. But i can feel positiv and negativ energy and in this project, i can feel a ton of positiv energy. That's the main reason that led me to buy NXT, hold it for long long time, and believe in it! I don't know how many average guys like me read this thread, but i think there are some and there are going to be new ones day by day. For Joe's like me THIS is the most important thing and could also attract new investors!

Just wanted to let you know  Smiley

It makes fun and happy to read and follow all your hard work! I try to support and do my part by liking and sharing on socials all the time.
Thanks for your good work!
Im seeing this here, and the competing protocols, where lots of seemingly theoretical detail is swapped/discussed/argued, with absolutely nothing to offer average Joe, other than a hope that the devs and close others, can actually deliver the very incomplete DEX's out there.

Theres obviously an expectation issue to account for, but currently it feels like a collective wall has been hit, with people looking at each other, hoping the other knows how to get over said wall.  Undecided

Hi all!

I'm looking for a Bitcoin related job.
So far I worked as a developer (mostly web) using PHP+MySQL, HTML+CSS and Javascript (including AJAX). Also had quite some experience developing scripts and bots on Python, and some experience with Node.js.
I have experience working with bitcoind as I've built an automatic gambling service (dice like), also did integrate Bitcoin payments to several e-shops using blockchain.info API.
I've got Linux administration skills as I've had to manage many VPSs and had Linux on my home computer for a while.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are very interesting and progressive technologies, they inspire me to work in this direction. So I'm looking for opportunities to find my skills useful here. Smiley

I'm ready to be paid in BTC, LTC, NXT or whatever tradable coins you like.

No.

Just to name some who are not just looking at each other and hope or talk: JL, CfB, James, CIYAM, the committees. And there are a bunch of other Nxters and guys (not Nxters) who work on services, gateways, tools, marketing, ...

All this hand wringing the last few days has been because one or two big stakeholders have sold some of their stockpile. Maybe they wanted to buy a car or something, who knows? The progress of Nxt has been excellent. Wesleyh client is awesome. Asset exchange being tested and will be functional within weeks, Transparent forging and big increase in TPM capability coming in April. Adam B. Levine says Nxt looks like the future Bitcoin and he's very excited about it. Tons of other good news. Don't let the price or the trolls get you down!

There are LOADS of people talking to each other.
They just don't do it in this thread. Sometimes you just want to get on with it and that means getting behind the screen and not answering calls.  Grin

Don't equate silence as non-action, please.
Look at salsacz: he has done absolute shitloads of work, which now becomes more and more visible. All behind the scenes.

The same goes for many, many people who are beavering away and want to present something that is finished instead of half-baked. Smiley

You tech heads on here have really dropped the ball on NXT. One you shouldn't have a thread with this many geeks discussing code to promote a coin.
Two you have all managed to create an environment that seems elitist and condescending. You have made it all seem so complicated for the average user that they eventually thought screw this i'm going to an easy to open platform clone of NXT.

I own a ton of NXT this hurts me personally. What the hell is going on here, this isn't a coding party wise up or recognize you guys need to change or this coin is in the toilet. Well done....

This thread is were the developers are talking difficult stuff, this thread is very important and let us peak inside of de development of Nxt. For the average Joe these forums are more easier to understand: http://www.nextcoin.org and https://forums.nxtcrypto.org. Good luck!  Smiley

Thanks for that!

Just picked up some more NXT during this sale.
